Very nice build! I appreciate that it’s not one of the “unlimited budget” vans that are becoming so common now on RUclips. I enjoy seeing regular people’s projects, including smart money-saving DIY solutions!! I have a smaller self-built van right now, but am working my way up to a longer wheelbase box van like this one.
Love the roll away toilet. I've always thought that would be a good idea for maximizing space. I'd love to see someone do a roll away incinerator toilet!
Love it, Thanks for sharing your home with us! Love your dog's too, Many years ago I had a Springer named Skipper who loved playing with skunks, Unfortunately he didn't understand that even though he never got tiered they did, that's when he would get sprayed. Lol thank for bringing back old memories! "(Keep some Tomato Juice & Pause on hand just in case)" lol its only thing that will kill the smell
I've watched a TON of these van life videos and I have to say, I absolutely love your toilet solution (roll-away, shower access). Absolutely the way I want mine if I ever do this. Thanks for sharing! :)
Absolutely brilliant job, guys. Last year I’ve got exactly the same van and soon I’ll start my rebuild journey with it as well! These videos will be and are definitely priceless!🤍
The build is awesome, the most spacious and well thought design. I appreciate and find very helpful the Amazon links but you need to know that you repeated the link from the inverter again towards the booster. Thanks for sharing the experience!
That sliding toilet and wardrobe design is a great use of space, I was never keen on the toilet in the shower thing when I saw them. It is only a matter of time before someone falls with those stairs you're using with all the uneven ground they will be used on, at the very least add some brackets to the stairs so you can slot them onto the side of the truck so they can't tip over. Steps can be a hard problem to solve, especially if you don't have space directly under the door for them to fold into.
Just subbed, one thing I would suggest is that you make that door opening device anti-dog. When I was younger my mum and dad went out and locked me and my sister out of the caravan. By getting the dog to jump up he knocked the latch down and we could get in!!
Ditch the battery shunt! Those renogy batteries are smart, they work great by just linking them together with Ethernet cables and then using renogy’s own monitoring screen to display all of the information. They also stay self balanced as well as a result. I have some hooked up and it’s flawless! I think the battery monitoring screen is less than £30
Maybe my favorite box van build..great job. Whats your fuel economy ? Just read from the website the fuel economy is insane !! Thanks for the post !!! Not ready to do this yet but if I can get this in the US, this is the one. I was doing my travel budget and was stock on fuel cost, with a Iveco unit its about three times as good.
She’s amazing. Just wish I had the time and money to build something similar. Not bitter though. You’ve worked hard and now it’s time to play hard lol.
Thanks so much! Crazy that she's finally done ( well .. I'm sure we will find things to tinker with and fix ) 100% looking forwards to getting out and making some memories 👏👏
I've been getting a lot of ideas lately. The idea of a hidden shower (Louis The Van) and toilet, a space for an e-bike, etc. Ultimately, I'd like a huge open space with a gaming (mistersunshinebaby) and entertainment area for one. I'm hoping to gather all these ideas and be able to create my ideal space. Lucky I'm shorter at 166cm so I'll be able to sleep comfortably width wise on a double bed of a cargo van.
Thank you that ties the build together nicely. The only thing I am not sure about is the walk through which I remember you cutting through. I wondered, as the "box" is separate from the van chassis, did you have to do anything special to seal between the two and allow for a little relative movement ?
Thank you 😁👏 Yes it's connected with a rubber accordion gasket, which is a rubber material with several folds to allow the box and can to move naturally, you can get them on the camper van culture website :)
hi ,i really love how you did your van ,im looking for tips and im gonna nick your rear lounge lay out its great , looking at your vid i did see something i would like to make you aware of , i see potentially 9 points on the drivers licence and fine for a detail you overlooked
Love❤️from Mumbai, India 🇮🇳 to you both! Really i can Feel good vibes from you guy's you made this campervan with love & so much affection you have with this van & created beautiful good memories to remember for life long 💕 😌😇 god bless you with more love wealth health and happiness 😇 New subscriber 🤗
Why not put a shelf above the dog bed and electric controls? You could use it as a shelf or put another dog bed on it that can be accessed via the couch.
Have to say I absolutely love this build! After moving into my Fiat Ducato full time I realise the extra space of a luton box makes a world of a difference. Shame here in Ireland you can't convert a luton box into a camper legally :/, anyways I look forward to seeing new content from you both!
Well done guys ! Fair play! I've been watching from the very start 👏 👌 🙌 👍 hopefully I'll be making a start finally on mine soon haha ! Hope to see more of you guys ! Keep up the good work !!its paid off in the end ! Much love ! Cardiff southwales!💪🏿👊🏿
Hey! love the video, hoping to do something similar. How many miles does your Iveco have and how confident are you in its reliability? I am looking at vans of a similar age :)
Hi guys, lovely build, I am just 'attempting' to design my first build, a luton. What solar panels did you use? combined with all the other electrical tech you have listed (cheers) how much does this give you to play with on a sunny day and how much in UK winter? cheers. steve
Whats the weight of this Iveco van mate ,ive read they are 7 tonne which you cant drive on a normal license ? Thanks .PS we loved your series !. The van is absolutely stunning, your missus is one talented lady !
Fantastic conversion, I'm going to be looking to do the same in the next year to a luton van with long wheel base like yours and watching your tour has really settled my mind that there is plenty of space 👍
So much space.. heigh is the only issue for us, we are taller than most mother homes 😅 but inside we have 2.3m so there are Luton's smaller than us available
Woooww! Definitely a few things in here I haven't thought of yet for my future build, I'm impressed. The van is 3.5T right? I may be getting the same one
Approx cost was £20k maybe more 😵 over budget for sure, the big things we had thought of.. it was the 'little' things that sneak up on you. The sheer volume of wood, we had budgeted about 1k but maybe double or triple that in the end
Is this slightly bigger than a normal luton van, or are you guys just better at designing it? I've seen others that don't fit as much in and look cramped. I find it hard to believe they are the same van as this one, but they all claim to be 3.5 tonne luton vans and have roughly the same measurements.
Hi there 👋👋I’m back filming now and posting again. It’s just me (Heather) on the channel now, but still hoping to bring you some great videos and adventures
I wish these box truck people would address their annual insurance costs and if they have been honest declaring they live-in full-time. It is an issue in the states. A VIN sometimes cannot be changed, so if the box truck VIN lists it as commercial that is the insurance you have to retain and it does not allow you to live in it full-time. This is why I purchased a hurricane-damaged class-C RV that I removed the coach from and am purchasing a box to install and build out to my specs.
"A full length mirror so adleast we know we look like shit" this made me chuckle 🤣
That roller closet is so smart...great to roll into a space you don't use too often or fill up with things.
Nice set up! Brave choice to have the laptops right underneath the gas oven!
One of the nicest and neatest builds I have seen. And I have seen many..great job
Love the roll away toilet. I've always thought that would be a good idea for maximizing space. I'd love to see someone do a roll away incinerator toilet!
That would be awesome, I'd love to see it too
I watch alot of van builds on RUclips, and I must say your Luton is by far the best I have seen. Well done and God Bless
Really lovely build!! Thanks for sharing.
Nice conversion. Exterior looks factory built. Beautiful and functional inside.
Dogs are good people.
Love the fact that you have a separate space for shoes which can get in the way otherwise.
pc and hdd next under the oven ? how is that when the oven is on ?
Brilliant video from you both, well edited and well presented and explained simply too. Great build and layout for your needs. Congratulations
Thanks so much Carl 😁
Too too adorable and funny. The hobby segment 🤣😂🥰 isn’t that right darling 😇🥰
😍😍😍
You should check the temperature of those devices. That drawer under the oven may get a bit hot, which could cook the batteries
Lots of great design ideas, I am now wavering between LWB van and a Pantech like this.
The extra space is great 👏
Love it, Thanks for sharing your home with us! Love your dog's too, Many years ago I had a Springer named Skipper who loved playing with skunks, Unfortunately he didn't understand that even though he never got tiered they did, that's when he would get sprayed. I really appreciate the dogs you have great box truck
If you ever look to sell, first dibs! What a van.
I've watched a TON of these van life videos and I have to say, I absolutely love your toilet solution (roll-away, shower access). Absolutely the way I want mine if I ever do this. Thanks for sharing! :)
First class, nicely done, Van and video. Raised spaces is so logical when you've got that height to play with.
Love your eye for detail and the cosy feel to it!
Absolutely brilliant job, guys.
Last year I’ve got exactly the same van and soon I’ll start my rebuild journey with it as well!
These videos will be and are definitely priceless!🤍
Thanks so much ! Glad you found them useful :)

The Horsebox Window Tip is super usefull! Which brand is it?
Wow been following you since the start an you should both be proud
Thanks so much Kieron 😁
What great van and i love your dogs you've done a great job converting the van. Scotty
Love this build! The U-shaped sofa/dining/bed conversion is awesome! Your pups are adorable too! 🥰
not me🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hi, just found your channel from watching Kieron and Alice..fabulous van build, looking forward to following your adventures
Welcome to the channel 👋👋👋👋
Wondering how much that van weighs!! Awesome though
this is an amazing conversion, I'm curious what is the GVW and weight of a vehicle?
Amazing conversion 😃
Great job...
Fair play guys it looks great ✌🏼❤️
Thanks Wes 😁👏
Well done guys ! Fair play! I've been watching from the very start 👏 👌 🙌 👍 hopefully I'll be making a start finally on mine soon haha ! Hope to see more of you guys ! Keep up the good work !!its paid off in the end ! Much love ! Cardiff southwales!💪🏿👊🏿
Thanks so much Luke 👏😁 The EU trip has began and content should be rolling out soon 💪
hi heather, have you ever had your van on the weight bridge ? and what did it come in as ?
Hey! love the video, hoping to do something similar. How many miles does your Iveco have and how confident are you in its reliability? I am looking at vans of a similar age :)
Hi guys, lovely build, I am just 'attempting' to design my first build, a luton. What solar panels did you use? combined with all the other electrical tech you have listed (cheers) how much does this give you to play with on a sunny day and how much in UK winter? cheers. steve
Is the box on the inside without the sleeping beds 6 meters ? Looking for a van myself, just curious!
Top work guys! Just found you and subscribed! I do love an Iveco. Lovely van!! I'm starting a luton conversion, hence why I've found you 😆
Whats the weight of this Iveco van mate ,ive read they are 7 tonne which you cant drive on a normal license ? Thanks .PS we loved your series !. The van is absolutely stunning, your missus is one talented lady !

Wow! Nice!
A diesel or petrol engine? All spaces built in more interesting ways than manufactured ways. What mileage do you get?
Awesome job.
That is all 😅
Loved this ❤️❤️
Awesome ❤😊
I hope you weigh occasionally that boot and water looks like 1/2 your load if not more, stay safe and legal
Lol the roll away toilet goes under bros wardrobe. He goes out smelling like a compost toilet
Turned out great what was the final approx cost ex your time
Approx cost was £20k maybe more 😵 over budget for sure, the big things we had thought of.. it was the 'little' things that sneak up on you. The sheer volume of wood, we had budgeted about 1k but maybe double or triple that in the end
Took us 8 months, and for most of that we were both holding down either full time or part time jobs
Is this slightly bigger than a normal luton van, or are you guys just better at designing it? I've seen others that don't fit as much in and look cramped. I find it hard to believe they are the same van as this one, but they all claim to be 3.5 tonne luton vans and have roughly the same measurements.

5:20 lol Love it
What weight is it for the licence category
Would love an update from you lovely guys ☺
Hi there 👋👋I’m back filming now and posting again. It’s just me (Heather) on the channel now, but still hoping to bring you some great videos and adventures
Hey guys, is this a Cat C license or can you use a regular one?
Just a regular one mate
I wish these box truck people would address their annual insurance costs and if they have been honest declaring they live-in full-time.
It is an issue in the states.
A VIN sometimes cannot be changed, so if the box truck VIN lists it as commercial that is the insurance you have to retain and it does not allow you to live in it full-time.

Not so true. You just have to buy the right box truck
