Same. Mine at least made it to where I could pass it on to my son and daughter. Go figure a 5 yr old boy tore him up in about 6 months.😅 To be fair though he had been moved 8 times, sat in a box in an un-air-conditioned space in TX for about 6 yrs. I'd also lost the plug-in hands and all the other small bits.
There IS an ab (well more chest) crunch, it's just really tight, and you'll probably think it's going to break something before the thing moves. It kinda looks silly but it is there for those that want it. Also, while there' s no launcher for Roller to plug into, if you turn him around so he's facing the drone, he has slots that tab into there so he's not just rocking around loose inside. The trailer will close with the gun inside, if you adjust the drone properly.
I think you're thinking of the studio series Optimus with Roller having mount tabs. I checked Baltmatrix's video, and there were no tabs to slot Roller onto. Conversely, I've got Studio Series 86 Optimus, and I know for a fact that he DOES have those tabs for fixing Roller in place.
I have the C-02 Convoy the one with no trailer and I have a beat up old G1 prime I was gonna restore (got some toy hax decals for him) but never got around to it) and I can tell you this figure is 100% the same size as the G1 prime and the trailer from G1 prime will connect to the 'hitch' on the truck mode of both C-01 and C-02 Convoy.
How about a Missing Link Ratchet and Ironhide? That way we would have modernized versions of the original “headless mini mechs” with better articulation and the ability to peg on to their “upside-down roof battle platforms” via ports on their feet.
This toy is my first experience with any version of the G1 Optimus Prime. In some ways, I actually find it more fun than any of the modern toys, like Earthrise or Studio Series. It feels good in hand, transforms easily, honestly the only thing I found disappointing was that it didn't include the launcher that propels Roller down the ramp. is yours a bootleg or something? it should also have come with a sticker sheet with additional details for the trailer. Also, it does have an ab crunch, the hips spread apart to give him a better gait, you're supposed to use the other handle to store the gun, and it was indeed supposed to come with the gas nozzle. BTW, the matrix storage can be removed to reveal the diaclone pilot seats.
6:47 Ba dum tish (and he rightfully for why his weapons can't be stored in *his* trailer) My 4 year old self wish could have gotten *the* original Optimus and yeah, I too agree that the deluxe Prime is way affordable (just have one is enough... Because Ringgit Malaysia)
You need to separate the hips on the slider during transformation from alt to bot mode. Also, there is an ab-crunch. Someone didn't check the instructions 😉
I thought G1 Optimus had a knee bend. I have the Walmart reissue of it (it didn't come with a trailer and I wish it did) from a few years ago and it had knee bends.
But it doesn’t transform exactly like the original? Also the original had a knee bend and most of the arm articulation, too. Not new. It actually does have an ab-crunch, but I’ve heard it’s pretty stiff so unless you already know it’s there you might not realize.
"Sometimes, childhood dreams do come true." Sick toy. I kinda miss my original Prime.

This is highly entertaining. Balt is cleaning out his closet of all his unopened purchases.

it would’ve been nice to see this against the 80s toy for comparison

10:08 Drone? Murdery? Have you watched Murder Drones?
Would be so cool to see them make ratchet and iron hide missing link.
Damn that’s a big matrix.
You forgot to flip out the heals
Techically the heels dont flip out
They only move when you bend the toes/foot assembly up instead of down

If only it weren't $200. 😢
$120 US on BigBadToyStore
Yes everyone has to buy this screw the legacy
Are they gonna make Megatron?
Still want one!
BBTs has them for pre order
Me too, but I absolutely don't have $200 to spend on it.
@ it’s on bbts for 119
Ever thought of covering C-02 Convoy Anime Ver.?
But it doesn’t transform exactly like the original?
