I bought the Lee Valley plans for $20 in 1984 to make a modern workbench from rock hard Maple. I chiseled so many mortices, my hands hurt.

I'm curious, if I get the T4, will I sacrifice (be unable to do )anything, or is the T4 just a smaller version of the same machine? TIA

T-4? I thought the T-8 was the current version?

You don't have to work the edges of carbide cutters. Just the flat face. 600 to 1000 grit will do the job.
