Is this a good trail to start doing gapped jumps on? I haven’t been mountain biking for long, but I can do most small-medium sized tabletops and I’m fairly confident with rough terrain (even though I’m on a hard tail). This trail seems fun, fairly easy and the gapped jumps aren’t super big, so would it be something I could learn on?
Since you haven't been riding for long probably not the best doubles to start on because the ones halfway down across the fireroad require a lot of speed even though they appear small. Perfect track is called 'poppin pimples' at Pewsey Vale, the map can be found on trailforks app. This track has heaps of gap jumps and most of them don't require much speed. They start tiny but get slightly bigger as you go down. I done a video on it, the track is at 5:47 into the video ruclips.net/video/tDrYqBTkpaI/видео.html&ab_channel=Kurtis There is still no harm in trying out Happy Trails, just do a test run and don't hit any jumps, and find a gap jump you are comfortable with and practice, probably 1 toward the end of the track would be good because you can walk back up without walking directly on the track
@@KurtisPape awesome thanks so much! I’ll definitely check out ‘poppin pimples’. Once I get better at gapped jumps I’ll try out happy trails. Thanks again. Edit: I just watched your run through and it looks perfect! It’s almost like ‘jumps revamp’ but not as intense and more flowy.
Cheers! If you haven't been here for 6 months you should know Fox Creek is closed and still closed, but the most impressive place at the moment is Kersbrook. Literally changing every week I go there.
Looks very entertaining!
It was more like sad trails when I crashed on it at the inside line rego day
