+magnomanx pads are good for simple execution characters and for back dashes. There are exceptions to every rule, but sticks are so much more consistent.
you may be right but i've tried a stick and i just can't play as good as i can with a pad. its funny too cause im going to have to get used to the ps4 controller for sf5 cause i play on 360
+max hammer Not gonna lie, the switch from ps3 controller to fight stick was rough. I took up an entirely new character since i was losing so much anyway, but in the end it was worth it. The argument i was presented with was that fighting games were designed with arcade and stick in mind, so they just work better together. Not to mention, my first stick was a square gate and made playing charge characters an absolute breeze.
+Anthony Leonardi really just comes down to preference. i like being able to go to an arcade and be fluent on an arcade stick, something that wouldnt have been possible had i stuck with pad. stick is overall more satisfying for me. but of course, nothing wrong with being pad exclusive either.
This was pretty free, but it's kinda hard to blow up Filipino Man for this loss, there are no Dudley players of Smug's caliber on the west coast, there was no way for Filipino Man to be prepared for this.... and his Elena was garbage in this set.
