Nice review, I enjoy my steel nib Mosaico in Sand and its probably worth noting that Leonardo piston mechanisms are made from an aluminum construction (not plastic). Also they sell the disassembly tool separately if you want to maintain your own pens.
It's gorgeous! I bought mine from St John's Pens at the autumn London Pen Show last October at a very good price. It writes very nicely (gold nib), and sits very comfortable in the hand. It was an impulse buy but one of the best I have ever made. Get it! You won't be disappointed. 😊

Beautiful material, my personal choice would be the Hawaii with gold trim and I may actually put it on my future pens to get.
