Hi I love you and love what you do ❤️🔥but can we try use more ethical and sustainable brands 😊 I’m not hating at all, but I think shein is one of the most unethical brands, I know it’s cheap and has some good stuff on but it’s not worth it 💞💞💞
All these comments about how bad SHEIN is, I hope you all keep the same energy for primark, PLT, misguided, boohoo, princess polly, verge girl, Zara and asos. They are all just as bad as each other. Not everyone can afford 100% sustainable fashion and there is no harm in sensibly buying a few things for cheap
I feel like everyone commenting for Jordan to stop supporting unethical brands need to realise that its never going solve the problem, how about instead of attacking random girls on the internet for just shopping, you put all the anger onto the people actually responsible for the problem in the first place. She's just being a consumer like all of us and getting angry at her won't solve anything. Direct your anger to the brands and companies actually doing it, send emails etc.
As an influencer it is a shame that you are recommending that people buy from a brand that has clothing of extremely low quality, perpetuates excessive waste and uses child labour. It is also disappointing that terrible companies like PLT, MissPap, NastyGal (all subsidiary companies of Boohoo) and Shein are continued to be promoted by "influencers". What exactly are you influencing? Instant gratification, wastefulness and a detrimental impact on the environment?
I think sustainability is definitely important but as someone who can often not afford higher end good quality clothing, and sustainable brands its nice to see influencers wearing things that i can actually go out and buy and not feel inferior due to not being able to afford certain clothing.
Unfortunately this is what some people can afford, I absolutely agree that we shouldn't buy from brands like this is we can avoid it but this could be really helpful for someone who can't afford more sustainable brands❤️
I wanted to start shopping secondhand but so much stuff is over priced! Like £30 for a secondhand dress from H&M? People are just overcharging… when you haven’t got the money secondhand isn’t really cheaper
