This is one of the most biased video I have ever seen. And here is the reason why. To say that Ronaldo has more attempts on goal makes Messi a better player is misleading. If someone shoots ten times on target and ends up scoring a hat trick , and some one else shoots five times and scores twice football rewards the player with a hat trick irrespective of his goal attempts. So, goals to attempts ratio which is used here to show Messi is better doesn't make sense-at least in football terms. Even a team that has more shots on target is often considered to have dominated the game than the one with less Another argument is that Messi is better at international level because he faces better teams in South America also doesn't make sense footballwise because in football what matters is trophies and goals that win them. Argentina fans are frastrated because they have not won anything with Messi- no such concerns for Portugal because Portugal have won two international trophies with Ronaldo, something that had never happened in Portugal's before Ronaldo played. Ronaldo is the top international goalscorer in Europe with 88 goals behind only Ali Daei from Iran. Messi is number 16. So how can a player with less goals and who has won pretty much nothing with the national team be better than the one who is on top of the list is beyond me. This analysis doesn't take into account that Ronaldo played in different leagues and has succeeded with all the teams he played for. So, perhaps the best comparison should be in La liga when both Messi and Ronaldo played in the same environment and Ronaldo has a better scoring ratio against the same teams despite the fact that he needed time to adapt to a different league.

The problem with looking at stats, such as the assists, it makes Ronaldo look so much better than he is in terms of providing for his teammates. I've been watching Messi videos and decided to go looking for one that analyzed his greatness. I had an idea but wanted something detailed as I am not a football player. Hockey was my sport. But I am so happy I found your video. You capture so much. Messi is so incredible and talented but not a prima donna. He has tremendous courage, fortitude and perseverance. He plays no games except the game of football. He is not an actor. He is the real thing. I hope he is an inspiration for young football players for generations.

That is evidenced not only by what Ronaldinho has said about Messi but also by Ronaldinho's consistent efforts in and off the pitch to develop Messi's skill as a footballer.
Third point:
Messi has played over 600 games for club and country. He's arguably been the best player in the world every year since he was 18 years old, he's now 30. No other player has ever been so versatile, technically gifted and consistent. If you want to judge his greatness based on 10 games every 4 years feel free to do so, but that's a pretty bad method of analysis.
