@@alexiz0013 I first tried travel size because I didn't know if it's worth the mone, tried it and then bought a full size backup. I think the wand is amazing, very soft, not too big (I have quite small eyes) and the texture of mascara is so creamy and black. For reference, I have quite oily lids and some days, I can see a little bit of transfer on upper lid, but nothing that would stop me from repurchasing it hahah hope it helps :))

@@alexiz0013 it is actually pretty affordable given the large size of the product (ie. the mini is the same price and size as the L’Oréal telescopic). And the mini is cheaper than the full size per ounce. Definitely worth trying out

I think favorite Rare Beauty product is by far the Foundation+Concealer. I have oily skin and before Rare Beauty I used to AVOID or hate all dewy finish foundation bc they didn't sat right on me and I would cake up my face to make it matte, but thankfully I'm a Selena fan and I was interested in trying out her brand and wow!!! That foundation+concealer makes my skin looks so healthy, juicy, bright and dreamy, its lovely to use as an everyday look! They really helped me embrace my oily skin and let it shine instead of muting it jaja💜 Thank you for the review! I always love all of them! Also as a side note lol your voice is super soothing so it makes it super easy for me to listen to🥰

I really love the brow powder. I wouldn’t call it a powder. To me, it’s more like a putty. It’s powder mixed w/a wax. It glides on super easy and u have a lot of control w/the product and the little brush. This is the first time I’ve ever used an product like this and I really love it. It looks very natural and u can just put a tiny bit on or u can build it up, which I think is a very nice feature. I’m definitely a fan.
The timing of this video is so perfect with the U.K. release at Space NK coming up, yes it’s Feb 1st online and Feb 22nd in store. There’s definitely a lot I’m interested in trying, it’s just what to try first. I really hope they don’t hike the price in U.K., it seems a very well priced brand in US and Canada.

Hi can I ask what skin type you have? I’ve been hearing the foundation may not work with certain skin types and I was thinking about buying the foundation.
The concealer looks so cakey on me, and accentuates every little line, even ones that I didn’t know I had! It just looks soooooo heavy, even though I use a very tiny amount. For that reason, I feel hesitant about trying the foundation. I love the liquid blushes, though!
Hydrate ur under eyes more N also let the concealer sit for a few secs before blending it out n also don't bake if u do just light dusting is enough 👌 This tips helped me alot so i hope i would help u too
@@Michelle-to4zb Hi! I hydrate well before makeup, including my under eyes. I tried the concealer sample with different moisturizers underneath, and both with and without setting with powder. Also, I use just a dot of concealer, as I dislike having too much product there. I never tried letting it sit beforehand, but I believe that that’s a trick used only to maximize coverage. In this case, the problem wasn’t its level of coverage, but that it felt thick, cakey and crepey. It did look better without setting with powder, but then it creased. The concealer was very crepey and heavy regardless of the technique, so I won’t purchase and won’t be trying it anymore. Just for reference, Tarte Shape Tape works great for me, and while I know that a lot of people feel that it is cakey and heavy, a little dot is all I need, it applies smoothly and performs really well on me, even set with powder.
I mean, it’s no big deal. It seems to perform really well on other people, it just doesn’t work well on my skin. That’s common with makeup products, as they can work wonders on some people, and really badly on others. It just depends on skin type, texture, etc.
I have found that the Rare foundation is a favorite mixer of mine-I love mixing it with my Physician’s Formula healthy skin foundation. The rare adds coverage and blurring, the PF gives it some stability and hydration so it doesn’t cake up in smile lines, and together they are just about perfect. I find that super thin foundations don’t always sit well on my dry skin, but mixing them with something slightly creamier that has a natural finish works really well. I’m still interested in the concealer and wonder how it works on dry under eyes.
I had the same exact experience with the foundation… the first time I used it, it was incredible! Then the next day.. it looked like a completely different foundation, not meant for my skin. Glad to know I am not alone in this feeling! The setting powder is one of my favorites though! 😍

I agree that the foundation does pull at dry patches. I find when my skin is dry and I’m wearing the foundation that day, I put a bit of Vaseline on after my moisturizer and it goes on so smooth. Like a slugging-lite lol.

I do have the foundation and really like it but I have another foundation I like better but everything else I’m crazy for. I haven’t gotten the powder since I have two other powders, one being the colourpop one that I really like. Again, like always, I enjoy all of your content! You are a great role model and influence!
Per great mascara formulas with wacky shaped or too big brushes: do any of you have a replacement brush brand you like? Not necessarily disposable, like a busy mua would need. Just washable ones that I could use instead of the ones that come with the tube. A nail polish brand or two sell dif shapes.
I experienced the same thing with the color range in their concealer. Love the formula, but i'm somewhere in between 180 and 200, so i mix them as well. Hope they expand the color range because it's a great concealer!
Yes I bought the foundation and coral blush. I have struggled with the foundation breaking up on. The skin frustrating. I put on foundation and don't want to worry about it I have dry skin also....good review

I thought I was the only one who had problems with the rare beauty foundation. I didn’t like it for the same reasons you said. Weirdly too even though the rare beauty liquid blushes are good and long wearing I never reach for them…maybe it takes too much work to not over do the blush. My favorite blush shade is "JOY" from the liquid blush is soooo beautiful. It's the perfect peach blush for my shin tone. And as Julia said they are VERY pigmented so i feel that this blush is gonna last me forever.. 😃 👍

Per great mascara formulas with wacky shaped or too big brushes: do any of you have a replacement brush brand you like? Not necessarily disposable, like a busy mua would need. Just washable ones that I could use instead of the ones that come with the tube. A nail polish brand or two sell dif shapes.

I experienced the same thing with the color range in their concealer. Love the formula, but i'm somewhere in between 180 and 200, so i mix them as well. Hope they expand the color range because it's a great concealer!
Yes I bought the foundation and coral blush. I have struggled with the foundation breaking up on. The skin frustrating. I put on foundation and don't want to worry about it I have dry skin also....good review

Bliss blush, mini trio blushes: Hope is now my favorite. And both the foundation and concealer brush I like a lot.
My sensitive eyes did not like the trial size of mascara, unfortunately.
I have the bronzer stick on my wishlist.
Melting blushes are another. I don't wear eye shadow often due to eye sensitivities but would try that primer to smooth and brighten. *concealers also bother my eyes 😔

Hi Julia! Do you shake the foundation before you use it? I don’t own it, but from watching other RUclipsrs I’ve heard that that can make a big difference in how it looks on the skin! Either way, it still looks lovely on you!

I thought I was the only one who had problems with the rare beauty foundation. I didn’t like it for the same reasons you said. Weirdly too even though the rare beauty liquid blushes are good and long wearing I never reach for them…maybe it takes too much work to not over do the blush. I just kinda realized rare beauty wasn’t for me

My favorite blush shade is "JOY" from the liquid blush is soooo beautiful. It's the perfect peach blush for my shin tone. And as Julia said they are VERY pigmented so i feel that this blush is gonna last me forever.. 😃 👍
