- Charmcaster comes from the dimension of Ledgerdomain. Her father and all other humans save for her and Hex were slaughtered by Addwaitya, who conquered the realm for himself. His goal is to liberate her homeworld and also find a way to resurrect her father, no matter what the cost may be

good video, Charmcaster is one of my favorite Ben 10 villains
In retrospect, I think they should have made a episode focused on Charmcaster and Hex's backstory to show us more of their past. It would have been great to see Hex when he was young learning magic, learn more about Charmcaster's father, reveal who the Charmcaster's mother, see Charmcaster's childhood, see the people of Legerdomine were like before Adwatia exterminated them and most importantly...reveal to us in more detail why Hex and Charmcaster became evil considering that Charmcaster's father was good person.
Too bad the writers of the original series, UAF and Omniverse never thought about that...Missed opportunity
It's a negative point of Ben 10, most of the villains never had their backstory explored in the show and only a few things are revealed by the crew in questions

That is sadly true, when Eon appeared in Ultimate Alien it was revealed that he was actually Ben from an alternate universe however it was never explained why he became evil and why he is obsessed with being the only Ben in the multiverse. When Hex returned in Omniverse it was revealed that he became good off camera and they didn't even show in a Flashback what motivated him to stop being a criminal to become a university teacher.
What Ben must have said to Charmy in their last battle.
Charmcaster: I've beaten the most powerful magic users in this world and all others. And you honestly think you have a chance? You've got no magic, Ben Tennyson.
Ben: Please Charmcaster, I defeated a Galactic Gladiator, a being thousands of times more powerful than you, Gwen, Your uncle Hex, Adwatia, Morningstar and Bezel... If I transformed into Alien X, Way Big, Atomix, Clockwork or Gravatack I would give you the humiliation of your life...But I don't because unlike my other enemies, YOU behind that Dragon form, magic, arrogance, your hatred for Gwen and your hunger for power... you are nothing more than a loser girl with low self-esteem and daddy issues.
Charmcaster: Shut your mouth!!!
Charmcaster is one of the most iconic and beloved characters in Ben 10...but at the same time he is one of the most wasted, it was very frustrating that they ruined the opportunity to give him character development 😫and the worst thing was that it did not have a satisfactory ending☹️
