I was born in 1947 and spent many hours of my childhood looking at photos of what occured during the Holocaust in a big book :Life Magazine -World War 2. My father only spent a short time in Europe then as part of the American army. But I wanted to know what that War was. It turns out just looking at those photos did so much emotional damage that its taken me a lifetime to start healing. The horrendous damage of that evil will play out for another hundred years or more. I only saw photos. Other humans were there. May god have mercy on all victims of human wars.

Good life until a certain group of people came. Huh. Seems familiar for the present. Y'all have already forgotten your past.

Okay at face value that is a fair statement... But do not confuse/conflate an entire ethnic group with a single country.
Also, please don't confuse or conflate the citizens of a country with the government. There are many citizens that speak out against the atrocities of their government.
