From "The Office": an American television mockumentary sitcom broadcast on NBC. Created as an adaptation by Greg Daniels of the British series of the same name, it is a mockumentary that follows the day-to-day lives of the employees of the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of Dunder Mifflin, a fictional paper supply company. The series stars Steve Carell as Michael Scott, John Krasinski as Jim Halpert, Jenna Fischer as Pam Beesley and Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute.

I felt bad for Ryan when Stanley first yelled at him, because Ryan was mostly innocent in that situation. Ryan was keeping to himself, and when Stanley's daughter approached him and talked to him, he was polite and pretty quiet with her. Just barely talking with her, almost like he was hoping to get the conversation to end. Then when she asked for his phone number, Ryan was like "Um...I don't think so". He didn't say that, but his facial expression gave that message.
A lot of people say Jim fills this role, but Stanley is the voice of reason on The Office.

I LITERALLY CANNOT watch Stanley go off about anything without tears coming out of my eyes. When he called Micheal a professional idiot I LOST IT!!!! I legit screamed! That is the funniest thing I've ever seen on my life! Stanley says everything I wish I would say at my job but not to the people I work with, but the customers I talk to. Re: Conference Room incident - Stanley was entirely justified (in my opinion) to refuse Michael's request for "urban" messaging. Stanley always presented as a professional businessman, yet Michael constantly racially profiled him anyway, as if the only salient thing about Stanley was his race. So if Stanley rejected being stereotyped with increasing vehemence, perhaps Michael would finally get the point. I'm just surprised, and disappointed, that Toby completely missed the actual offense and focused on hierarchy discipline.
