Loved the soundtrack and the artistic way the credits rolled at the end of the first episode! Also Yeh Vaada Raha and Zamane ko Dikhana hai were both my favourite films and soundtracks...Like a comfort blanket! Deliciously anticipating the rest of the episodes now - bingewatch here I come.....! ❤❤
In Credits, you can see "Satish Kaushik's" name on "Calendar". Makers takes reference from the movie "Mr. India" in this iconic movie Satish Kaushik's name was Calendar.
I wonder if the kids are going to be just as important if not more a bit like Stranger Things. I like the fact they have shown the western influences in a Desi setting. How we grew up with both the worlds - songs and movies side by side to our own cultural influences
Gulshan Devaiah's atmaram is inspired from Goldtooth Tony in Snatch. Raj and Dk are cinephile directors who do pastiche a lot , after finishing the series you'll feel that atmaram's character deserves a spinoff
The book that Dulquer's character gives to his daughter is Desmond Bagley's Golden keel. Readers will know that the book and this series have a similar internal theme , in the book it was gold , the main guy operating with two other guys and here in this series its opium.
Pankaj is a real gentle soul in real life and when he plays such different characters, its amazing. Not to decredit rajkumar but he mostly is the bhencho-kya bola ? kinda guy in real life too. So, i dont think he has that range you guys were talking about. Most of the characters he plays, reminds me of his real character.
Rajkumar has immense range. He has played all kinds of characters. Newton, Shahid are some of the best acting you'll see in a leading role in Hindi cinema.
@@slipperybone Idk about range. The character here reminds me of character from stree and ludo. Not much difference.🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️Most of his performances are similar and hence no range.I dont mean he is a bad actor though.Think about it.
@@dazewaker262 just because he has done some similar roles doesn't mean he doesn't have range. He has shown that on numerous occasions. Watch Shahid, Newton, Omerta, Trapped, Bose, Bareilly ki Barfi, Gangs of Wasseypur and you can see his incredible range. By your logic, even Pankaj Tripathi doesn't have range because he has played soft-spoken Hindi speaking middle-aged men so many times. Every actor has a few roles that are similar. Whether it is Nawaz or Irrfan or Manoj. But you cannot question their range by ignoring their entire filmography and only focusing on 2-3 roles. That's not an objective way to look at things.

@@dazewaker262 first of all, his real-life personality is nothing like his roles. He is quite soft-spoken and is definitely not a chhapri aashiq. He's always carried himself well and never been cheesy or abusive to anyone as far as I can recall. Secondly, you definitely do not have a clue about his real life personality. The guy has played an absolute monster in Omerta and a sweet, shy boy in Bareilly ki Barfi. He has portrayed Newton with such simplicity and is flamboyant as hell in Ludo. He was absolutely devastating with his body transformation and raw exploration of Shahid's character. These are completely different characters. Poles apart. Hey, rick & korbin i like you guys, specially your genuine views on any Indian video, well i was born in north India grew up in in south India, but I like Indian films and series if they are engaging, not going to compare with masterpiece of Hollywood, but I feel rick is my chacha (uncle) & korbin as my bro that's our culture we relate so quickly, I believe I have watched more than 100 video s of yours, I really enjoyed pankaj sir and nawaz Sir interview, some day just say hi, i will be glad, my frns r in us even they know u they appreciate u, well will be glad if I can an hi 🙏 namaste, vanakam, namasakaram,
You guys didn't recognize Adrija Sinha in this episode, you have seen her in the Manoj Bajpayee film "Bandaa". She plays Mamta, a school student in this series.
Make reaction video on song Dil kya kare song from salam E Ishq movie starcast john abraham , Vidya balan,Govinda,Anil. Kapoor ,Akshay khanna ,Priyanka and Salman ❤️❤️❤️
its incredibly sad that hindi content is being produced by not just non hindi talents and elite westernized indians and people coming from south, but even indian origin foreigners are making indian content for indians and taking our talent space and using our culture and show it through their foreign influenced lens and removing actual localization, and forcefully bringing non hindi talents and influence even foreigners and westernized indians. Our hindi cinema should be saved from west, indian origin westerners, elite westernized people/ western das, non hindi region influence, and groomed local indians (by west and indian western das)
Kinda ironic how you go on preaching Hindi, hating on everyone who's a non Hindi speaking person, especially westerners and yet choose to write a whole essay in English 🤣😂 now that's some non Hindi influence you are showing.
I didn't see one foreigner in this whole show. I saw Indians enjoying their roles and not unhappy with what part they got. And there's no westernization being imposed. Bröther, so stop.

20:25 Notice Sathish Koushik credit is written on calendar, his character name in Mr. India movie
Gulshal Devaiah is one of the most talented actor, sad that you have not explored hom much yet. He is the same level of Raj Kumar Rao.
Have a Campa Cola. Sadness eliminator.
Hunterrr 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I loved him alongside Sonakshi in Dahaad.
Gulshan, Rajkumar and Vijay verma three most versatile of the new gen
He was great in Mard ko Dard nahi hota and shaitaan
The comparison with Tarantino was spot on! The 4 cuts immediately reminded me of the 5 point palm exploding heart technique from Kill Bill.
Everyone who watched Mr. India movie knows why Satish Kaushik’s name written on a calendar in credits ❤😮😅

Gulshan Deviyah is one of the greatest actors of our generation!
He killed with full rage the second guy because of rage and disappointment from his failed love proposal. I don't think he did those things before.
In Credits, you can see "Satish Kaushik's" name on "Calendar". Makers takes reference from the movie "Mr. India" in this iconic movie Satish Kaushik's name was Calendar.
How many times should it be known that there are four leads, not three. Even Raj and DK added Gulshan. But these guys could care less about him.
*couldn't*
@@jai_yogi could care less is informal use, Yogi ji!

Great series and performances. R.I.P. Satish Kaushik ji 🙏
Gulshan aka 4 cut aatmaram is the same guy who played Raj kumar Rao's gay partner in Badhai do. 😮😅
At 9:27 scare crow looks like easter of stree 2 😊
Very smooth and pulpy dark comedy , Coen and Sadfie bros style with a bit of Anurag kashyap!
