yeah, zsd is less dps than doing sword chains. only actually good when the monster is moving but lets you stick on the head with mantles. boring playstyle
@@_Tzer for partbreaks on bad hitzones yes, for partbreaks on good hitzones no. The majority of ZSD damage is on the small ticks, which have a very low partbreak modifier. The explosion at the end doesn't make up for it, even with its high partbreak modifier, but it does ignore hitzone values.

could i maybe ask how you got therre to be more than one trigger of the phial bursts per attack? kinda curious if a mod or some other goofy thing like the GL exploit. are the phials triggering on the other phial explosions??? i know they like to trigger when hitting other particles, so i dunno. and if that really does happen, what would result from raising particle effects?? increased DPS? dunno just answer if u wanna, kinda a cool thought ig.
phial bursts are triggered when you hit the monster, other players, small monsters, palico...even enviromental bitterbugs. Me and the boys once had a real crazy funtime with leshen when he summon lots of jagrasand we were all hitting it, through us and the jagras...I guess that was like 8 phial bursts each hit

Needed a break from gunlance and the guys wanted to do a 4p switchaxe fatty, para was nessesary and a huge DPS increase. But i have like 15 swaxe uses😂
@@IDeVasteCan you do one with 3 swaxes and one HH player? Jijinx and tuna once assumed this would be one of the highest team dps settings. (also your fatalis run was nuts and I bow before you hunter god)

Recently just tried out the Switch Axe and I'm enjoying it, especially when you connect the elemental discharge to the monster's head :D

I have only 15 switchaxe uses so i didnt do a dps comparison, i just always went with circle, triangle , triangle combo
