My beloved Dad died a few weeks ago by complications of a brain stroke and seven month of hard days with a care home, hospital, wheel chair and neurological damage, and the last time he wasnt with us anymore, only his body was still here...that was a storm we had to walk through.
This song to me is a tear-jerker. It makes me cry. Jerry Lewis sang it at the end of the MDA Telethon every year from 1966 to 2010 since the Telethon started (44 years).
One of my favorite musical soundtracks. The entire album is great, but this song is so in a class by itself. Many great performers have sung it over the years.
I love this song I have always felt inspired when I hear it or sing it. but It's also very sad and brings me to tears, but it is most of all a song of hope in times of adversity. Thank you for uploading it.

When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high And don’t be afraid of the dark At the end of the storm, there’s a golden sky And the sweet, silver song of a lark Walk on through the wind Walk on through the rain Though your dreams be tossed and blown Walk on, walk on With hope in your heart And you’ll never walk alone You’ll never walk alone Walk on, walk on With hope in your heart And you’ll never walk alone You’ll never walk alone

@@JudgeJulieLitIt’s Claramae Turner as Nettie in the film, who sings the song to comfort Shirley Jones (Julie). This is followed by Gordon MacRae (Billy) singing a touching reprise of “If I Loved You”. This uploaded post finishes with the finale ultimo of “walk” with Shirley Jones and the chorus. 🎠🎪
