I love these. Really puts everything into perspective and gives context. Like at 18:35, everyone and their mother has given a bad callout once or twice, but to actually be able to see the repercussions of a bad callout like that is cool. That callout may very well have gotten their friendlies killed. There are lessons to be learned like this through out the whole match which is rad. Like how 1 HAT missing that T72 resulted in the death of his team's HAB. Butterfly effect.

I like this type of admin cam video...its a new way to absord the cool things going around on the map.
It's crazy seeing this game, I've never played it, but it looks like it would get my adrenaline going. I went from light infantry in 2009 and 2010 to mechanized infantry from 2011-2015. The Bradley's are great vehicles and I pull my hair out seeing some folks make total fails in what seems simple, like not traveling with infantry support everywhere. The Bradley was designed for supporting dismounted infantry, not as a lone wolf. If enemy contact is imminent, dismount your ramp lizards and let them get good eyes for you while you support them as a force multiplier, not the end-all-be-all of an entire operation, at least in most cases. Bradley's traveling with tanks and dismounts is your spearhead right there. So cool to see these matches though, I'll buy a PC exclusively for this game! I know this is an old video but I'm still getting caught up with all of your Eye in the Sky videos, keep em up! I look forward to seeing you one day in-game.

17:13 perfect example of why tanks should not deal with infantry until the enemy tank is dead. Shooting infantry will lead to you being marked accurately by the enemy, the enemy tank knowing where you are while not knowing where he is and being caught off guard with AP not loaded leading to you losing the tank
Also the callout of trading was just straight dumb
See this type of logic would require players to actually have a base understanding of modern combat and tactics.
They dont..90% of players just finished call of duty boot camp and run around by themselves, shooting at everything and basically just being more of a hindrance then anything.

I keep having the same issues with the AT being almost ‘absorbed’ by armor. It’s frustrating especially when you land a tough shot.

It would depend on the model as yhere have been alot since the coldwar. But the basic Abrams is on par with a t-72 yes.!

First time watching an "eye in the sky" video, fantastic perspective of Squad gameplay! Just a quick tip, sometimes the map and camera can move quite a lot, or a bit fast, which can make watching a little more difficult. Great video!

Nava is a map for infantry where armor is just the "fire support". Something that this makes me realise is that I should have shouted at my team instead of focusing on my Abrams
No armour usually dominates on Narva and stops infantry SLs from spamming Hans which is why I hate Narva.
@@alexbanks6215 on tpf (moi's servers) the ATs are really good at their job and armor becomes more support. I personally dont like running American vehicles on maps like nava due to the lack of frag on the Strykers because it's an m2
@@bonsaigames1202 They honestly really need a Stryker version with a Mk-19 on the CROWs.
In real life the US army has up gunned a lot of their Syrykers with 30mm autocannons. They should update the game to reflect this.

Would like to see more balanced matches. This video the US forces got mopped up the whole match. Anyway to suggest to the server group to balance out the teams more?

I’m need to your channel and only been playing squad for a little more than a year. Been watching your guides and you should do a commander guide. I’ve started leading squads more often and I’ve never been commander and if I ever got voted for it I’d have no clue.

Just bitch the whole game about every decision SLs make, while doing nothing to contribute to the battle and boom. Youve got basically every commander in squad.
I hope destructible environments is somewhere on the dev roadmap, I can only imagine how amazing that would be for immersion and for Eye in the Sky videos!
It will probably never happen. The games already starting to be dated. Its been out for 4-6 years now i believe.
@@raidenthekat2444 It entered early access late 2015, the official 1.0 release was last September with another major update in February. It's literally been under constant development and the 2021 roadmap is full of more content and changes to be released. Not sure what about that makes it dated, but it seems to me like there's plenty of room for a destructible environments update in the future.

I love these videos and this game.
Hate how people play it tho. Nobody rushes into battle with armour at full speeds and keeps moving and such as gamers do. Real life tracks would be being thrown and maneuvers would end.
Still epically fun game... but with all games, combat is a little too gamey due to players. Gorgeous look!

I want to try vehicles but it’s such a responsibility I’m not ready for it ;(
Squads capture points need to be 4x the size. There is an entire American line killing, pushing and flanking the russian position and then a handful of russians step into an arbitrary barn ruin and then threaten to invalidate all that positioning? Stupid man. I guess this is why I only enjoy Invasion and SquadOps masterpiece gamemode, Occupation. You actually have to take and hold ground, and it is super fun. Not arbitrary, abstract points that make no sense and don't have an impact on the physical/tactical/strategic/logistic space or dynamic of the battle, as RAAS, AAS aka most of Squad is currently and always has been. I remember back in PR having 200M+ cap zones, and they were great. I think a gamemode where the objective was like how it is in SquadOps occupation mode, but after 30 minutes if a team has held advantage in it for a certain amount of time, or say one team runs out of tickets, or some other mechanic/mixed variant, then they win that area, and then the losing team fights over an objective area further back in order not to lose. If one team just takes the main zone before the games end, they've secured that area and have a marginal victory, but if they capture and then maybe overrun the enemy main FOB there (pre-built, can be added onto) then they get a strategic victory. More ideas after that to keep consecutive games epic, grounded, and engaging to play after that but, my unsolicited rant is long enough.
It's a shame the devs didn't try to recreate real Narva. Some similarities, but not accurate
