Umtentweni Caravan park | a caravan park on the Indian Ocean coast of KZN, SOUTH AFRICA.

This channel documents my adventures travelling around Southern Africa in my caravan.
Two years ago I left the big city of Cape Town, towing my caravan and a speedboat with my lovely cat for company, never to return to the big city.
I'll be documenting my adventure and showing caravan parks that I spend time at in Southern Africa as well as some other subjects of interest to caravanners and adventurers in general.
This channel takes an in-depth look at smaller and off-grid living in Southern Africa.
I make all of the music and do the filming, voice and the edits myself.

The tiny house movement is small in Southern Africa, but is growing exponentially very quickly.
Southern Africa is vast and has areas of great beauty with weather that is unique and superb. These videos will interest adventurers of all ages. There are still ways to live in this world that allow one to wander the world, as John Wayne used to do in the old western movies.
As I get older I have the choice to sit in four walls, watch TV and get grumpy, or go off and have an adventure in my old age.
I've decided to choose the adventure and I'm surprised at what I've found. I'm seeing some great places and having some fantastic experiences.
Hopefully these videos will bring out your inner 'John Wayne'.

Ha ! The river, ask Toby about when the upstream dam wall breached.
On the first set of stands to the left as you come through the gate, a branch did break off, and destroyed a tent, sending a youngster to hospital, in answer to your question damages are for your account, as is the case in all caravan parks.
For too many reasons to mention here, Umtentwenie is like a golden thread in my families life, and I have recollection of it as a pre-teen boy, catching tiny grunter in the estuary on a hand line.
My fostered boy visited there with previous hosts before my time
I informed his wife to be she was pregnant with her first child - there is a funny story, but still today, 2 pregnancy testers please actually means 2 pieces of Kentucky.. 😂
My daughter in law, spread her father's ashes over the rocks at the beach
A year later, knowing what pregnancy was about, she announced that she was expecting...
Both my grandson and granddaughter, toddlers both where introduced to the sea and beach there,
Many happy memories of Umtentwene, well run by the owner Toby who resides there.
