Brien Foerster - Foramen Magnum of Paracas Skulls

  • Brien Foerster claims the foramen magnum of the "original elongated skulls" of Peru are in the wrong spot for them to be human. I used the replica (accurate to the millimeter) of the skull he tells you to get in his book. Turns out that not only is Brien wrong, he uses camera tricks to fool his audience to make this claim. Not cool, Brien, not cool!

    As soon as I saw the picture of the elongated skull from below, I could tell that it was tilted a lot. I would guess that people who aren’t as familiar with the skull would be fooled by this though, it’s sad that people like Brian Foerester or Graham Hancock try to mislead people who are genuinely interested in science and history. I think it’s the responsibility of the programs that put these people’s ideas out to properly inform people that this is misinformation.

    Wow, you do a great job at misrepresenting briens arguments, he clearly said in his video that the case of the foramen magnum being further back was to make sure that the head is centred, because the skull is elongated, so the foramen magnum is genuinely further back on this skull than a normal skull and his point still stands.
    You are attacking a strawman and pretending to be smart, try again.

    • @StatedCasually
      @StatedCasually  6 месяцев назад +5

      It's literally in exactly the normal spot. See the ending of this clip when I show it side by side with a normal skull and measure from the roof of the mouth backwards.
      Brien is lying to you and is using a camera trick to do so.

    • @bucko3353
      @bucko3353 6 месяцев назад +2

      @@StatedCasually yes but you are using your faulty system of analysing a single faulty sample.
      if you looked at briens skull which he used in his example and measure that he is proven innocent, when comparing the carotid canal to the foramen magnum we can see that in a normal skull (and the elongated skull you used) the foramen magnum opening starts just after where the carotid canal ends, however in briens sample we see that the foramen magnum is much further back than the cartotid canal, proving his theory.
      Also, if you actually watched his video with that sample you would see that he says that the foramen magnum is further back to balance the head and he shows the same angle you show, his actual point with showing that angle is that the head immediately slopes upwards when a normal head doesn't.
      You can't accuse brien of lying when you didn't even measure his sample and instead used your own, that is strawmanning.
      if you actually understood this subject and properly studied briens position before trying to debunk him you would already know that your sample is basically worthless.
      If you would like i can explain it to you properly.
