hahah - I can almost hear the bristling of birders across Britain as they immediately cast their minds back to finding a Rock Dove in some isolated corner of Northern Scotland where surely no feral pigeon has ever set foot let alone had the audacity to...'share its genes'.
We have herds of horses out here that are feral although many will call them wild. They use the term to try and protect them even though they compete with deer , moose and elk for resources.
Today I learned the difference between wild and feral.
Grew up in my country we never have pigeons till couple years later someone brought it as a gift. Now it’s everywhere in the country.
