OK, I just got through "binging" All of your episodes and I'm hooked. You're doing a great job and I can see your channel booming and subscribers growing. Love that you added some drone shots on the trip through AR and I'm looking forward to more Overland type vids. Again, doing Great Marshall and "Keep on Jeepin"...
Binge away! Haha. Thanks Bruce! I really appreciate it. As far as the content creation--I'm completely new to this, and I'm learning as I go. I'm hoping to continue to improve! Drone shots will be a staple of my trip videos (in areas where it is in fact legal to fly), despite how hard it is to implement when traveling solo. I have a new gear video coming up here within an hour or two for my new roof rack install. As far as the trip/overland type videos, I'm hoping to get another quick weekend trip in before spring hits, so stay tuned!
Keep it up man, you got me interested in these smart caps ill be looking for that adventure one though I must say, but good content as always and I look forward to the next one, there never is enough jeep gladiator videos XD
Good deal! I apologize to your bank account in advance for influencing your decision. They really are good caps though. Haha, I'll keep adding my videos to the tally then as long as people are interested! Thanks for checking out the channel.
My Commercial Shipped two days before the EVOa was announced. $1100 to return with shipping and restocking fees, so I'm Spraying it down with bed liner on the outside to make it black. Hopefully, they sell the Molle panels separately since the doors already have the bolt holes in them.
Ouch...that's a hefty price. That kind of sucks. I wouldn't be surprised if the panels fit the EVOc. I asked several weeks back and they said it wasn't compatible with the EVO Sport, so I'm kind of out of luck, but honestly I have plenty of storage space so it's not a huge deal.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. They're from a company called GPCA. GP-Grips, I believe are the name of the handles. They can powdercoat color-match them to your Jeep. I went with the Firecracker Red ones and they've been great! Admittedly, I rarely use mine, but the passenger ones get a fair bit of use!
Hmmmm....I'll have to take a look at that new model. I was hoping to get an EvoC but they said it only comes in white...yes I could paint it but I don't want that trouble.
Agreed on the EVOc. That's the main reason I didn't get it honestly. With the $500 saved over the EVO Sport, I probably could have gotten the panels powder coated or line-xd prior to assembly, but I didn't want to risk fitment issues. The EVOa looks like the perfect in-between. I wish it was available when I ordered mine.
@@TerraOutdoors Quick question for you if you don't mind. I know the topper weighs around 180 lbs so I was wondering if you noticed any "sag" when you installed it?
Also I’ve been trying to contact RSI to see if the EVOA doors are interchangeable with EVO. Still no response? I was pissed when they came out with this EVO A 🙄
Negative, it's a Frontrunnet Slimline II. And, same boat here! I was a little bummed because they specifically said that they had no plans for other models. Three or so months later, and here comes the EVOa. Oh well. I asked them about the doors as well, and they said that they are not interchangeable at this time. Reach out to them on gladiatorforum. They're pretty responsive there to private messages.
Nope, no issues whatsoever. I have a few surface pinstripes from some tight trails, but nothing deep or that's causing any concern. I do like the look of the windows better than the solid sides, but I just don't have much use for them personally. Having that molle mounting option would have been great. Honestly, I'm sure I can come up with a similar solution on my own, so I'm not sweating it too much. It's not a big priority though. I really enjoy the cap as-is.
I don't believe so, though honestly I haven't tried. I've seen complaints online though regarding that. Apparently, RSI has a set of latches in the works to address it. Personally, I would just leave the latches popped and close the hatches. That way, they can just be pushed open when you're ready to exit.
None. Fitment is perfect with the roof rack. I do have the "tall" mount foot kit, but I think there would be space even with the standard height kit. I eventually plan on mounting an awning, and even with that on the rack there should be sufficient space.
Really appreciate your content. Keep it up.
Thanks for the kind words!
More content to come hopefully in the near future, when I can get some time away from work.

I have a dealer looking into the EVOa as of today. Thanks again for the reviews!
Heck yeah! No problem at all!
Good stuff. I appreciate your review and thoughts! Look forward to more vids.
Thanks for checking it out! More to come for sure.

Great video. Great content. Considering the smart cap as well👍
I appreciate that! I'm still very pleased with the cap. For me, it really makes the Jeep even more versatile.
Just got the Adenture model installed. I'm with you on not having the windows.
Nice! I'm surprised they were able to get them out so quickly. Their process must be improving, which is good.

Loved the video. Where did you get the driver’s side red grab handle? I need one like that that swings up out of the way.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

Is your roof rack the RSI Drop Rack?

Hey! What “feet” system are you using for your frontrunner?
Any issues with it leading or rusting at all? Does the paint hold up to scratches? Thanks cap looks good, I think it’s better with windows

Can you open/close the latches from inside? If you wanted to sleep in the bed and close it off?

@@TerraOutdoors good to know. That would be ideal but you don’t know my friends. They wouldn’t stay open. 😂
@@elierickson1685 Hahaha. Fair enough!
Did you recall the width between the tracks or the rack width u ordered? Thanks
I got both for you!
The width between tracks, center to center, is approximately 46 3/4". The rack width of my frontrunner racks is the 1425mm option.
@@TerraOutdoors right on man, thanks!
Any issues with clearance of the RTT when the side hatches are open?

That what I plan on doing, might hold off on buying one until the molly panel comes out.
Personally, that's what I'd do too. Again, I'm plenty happy with the one that I have, but the Adventure model would have been perfect.
Are you looking to sell your used top
The original soft top? Sorry, I'm not. I think I ended up selling that within a week of removing it.
Good luck in your search!
