@@jeffreycreamer right on. I have had a lot of problems with that in bigger whitewater and have tried different skirts etc. Maybe the beachball trick or a implosion bar rigged into the skirt?

Jeff how are you keeping your skirt from imploding?
It still does sometimes, but the new skirt with elastic only at the front seems better. I also add an additional insert piece to my coaming.

@@russellbiggs6006 Yeah if you plug deep or a wave crashes on your lap it feels inevitable. Let me know if you end up with any improved solutions.
@@russellbiggs6006 , implosion bar helps somewhat, but the beachball trick, or in my case a homemade "jackson happy truster" works great.
