@duskeyowl2507 sooooo I’m 36, not an OAP and I’m pretty sure it I was a commercial I wouldn’t have forked out to buy the phone, they would’ve given it to me 🤷♂️
I've had mine for 3 months now and the sound and call quality is pretty good (I'm slightly hard of hearing but don't need hearing aids). It's better than my old One Plus Nord 10G, my Moto G Power and my Samsung A10. But the sound is relative.
I currently have a Samsung Galaxy s8, its still a good phone but it's starting to lag a bit and battery isn't lasting as long anymore so I I need to think about upgrading, what phone would you recommend please.
Samsung s20 fe 5g. Cheap refurbished, very fast and good for gaming too. I own two and have recommended it to friends who bought and are still using it today.
I agree with this, I did a video on the S20 FE and found it really good. Also consider the S21 FE, which can be found for good prices too. Done a video on that too 😁
Just received mine today ... it's amazing so far ... the only worries is how long the battery will last throught time ... there's no available parts so I just crossed my fingers
@@ashdoestech less than 20 hours after receiving it, it crashed with corrupted system files ... the only solution it was to chopsses to restart with factory reset aka loosing everything and started againt. So it's what I did. After all restarting over, everything seems to be fine. I am using fixed IP on my network so when downloading my old information from my old phone it' keep my configuration. So, I reboot to see if it would take the fixed IP but it crashed ... but this time I was able to recovered the newly uploaded data. I asked a friend about it and he says they probably do like chinese do with hard drive disk or ssd by spoofing. If you try to write data that exceed the memory, it will crashed and won't be usefull ... so it's the way they are transforming a 2 go usb flash drive into a 1to and sell it an amazing price. In conclusion, I have no choice to keep my old cellphone till I buy a new trusted one. I used to be able to speak with the seller but when I sended info that it crashedm totally muted. I asked for a total refund to AliExpress and I crossed my finger that I won't loose my 170 CAD. The phone in question is a 256GO one midnight Grey. If you want to not deal with trouble and risked the money you spend, do not buy that scam all buffed up phone.
I have been using a blackview a60 pro now for the last 3 years never had the slightest problem no problem charging need to upgrade because I dropped it it as small cracked screen I am going to buy either the blackview shark 8 the blackview color 8 which are reasonably priced on Ali and having contacted blackview direct al their products come with 12 month warranty they inform me😊
Perhaps because such a small company doesn't seem to give any updates as a lot of users have already complained. Bugs are here to stay and the phones comes in as it is.
Very good review thanks! I wonder between this phone and the ULEFONE Note 17 Pro. they are both at the same price atm on amazon and looks pretty similar in tech sheet
I've just had a look and the Shark 8 looks over £100 cheaper? Definitely makes it harder to buy the 17 Pro. The Note 18 Ultra is even cheaper than the 17 Pro too Thanks for watching! 😁
Avoid. These phones are garbage. They cease to charge after only a few months. I have had three Blackview phones in a row and all have suffered this problem.
i call bs, i had my blackview for 2 years and never a single problem with charging, try not using them while they are on the cord so you dont break the cord with your own hands
@@ekeretteekpo3004 The phone is fantastic! So far no problems at all! But more importantly, the price!!! I paid $108 us shipped (Aliexpress big sale ever year). Unbelievable , because the phone truly has all the bells and whistles (specs) . It is not fake at all , no lies. Their is even a youtube video out their of a full teardown of this phone, it's worth every $$$. Can't go wrong at all!!! Chears.
It will never get no updates. Sharks rarely update there phones. They just make new phones. It's just one of those phones that can only have one good thing about them. Rather it be it looks nice on outside and ugly on the inside or vice versa. Ugly on the inside meaning not that great of specs. You can't have both feature without paying at least 300 dollars more.
I wouldn't, they cheap out on updates. If you encounter bugs like "When I go to the accessibility settings and activate the accessibility use for some apps, it never saves my decision." be prepared, that they will stay there forever.
Finally, a review channel focusing on budget-friendly tech.
😁😁
Thanks for the video. Does it have gorilla Glass protected screen?
Good review mate. I bought the shark 8 for 119 quid with amzom prime back In December . Great phone over all.
Nice, yeah I didn't think it was too bad 👍

@H0LY_seVen it's a pretty good & battery life. My wife has the same phone & the battery is really good.
How many years is the security update? Is it upgradable to android 14?
I just got the phone and no android 14 yet and the last security update was July 2024. Hope this helps. Also no multiple user options
A lot of these lesser known manufacturers don't have great software support! Which is a shame as for the most part they're pretty decent phones!
What about sound and call quality. I can't seem to find anything about the call quality.

这个品牌手机质量如何?
Read some reports some features and apps stopped working/functioning after a while, maybe due to software updates, any comment on this ?
I got the device for 120$, been using it for a week now, no problems till now

is this 8gb or 16gb??
Absolutely no software support and updates
Do you know if e-sim are ok for this phone ?

Exactly! Thanks for your feedback! In 2 weeks we've got prime days I will check with one is at the best price
No problem.
Might even pick up an 18 Ultra myself to check out 😁
Good review. Researching as Amazon wasn't clear that it is a fake 16GB RAM - to be fair a lot of cheapy Chinese brands do that now.
How many os updates is it getting? Any idea?
Try zero
