First ever music video I produced/directed/edited back in 2004 for a local NZ hip hop group. The video was shot entirely on location at the Spencer on Byron Hotel in Takapuna. Filmed completely on 16mm film and graded at Oktobor in Auckland.

New Zealand produced some of the greatest hip hop artists in the world. It's a shame they're all relatively unknown outside NZ though. All we really saw being recognized internationally was Scribe and Savage. Even here in Australia we rarely saw any, the only reason I'm familiar with NZ hip hop is because I'm originally from New Zealand.

Thanks for the feedback Lani. This was actually the very first music video I directed. Looking back now there’s of course a few things I’d like to have done different. Hindsights a great thing right? ☺️ Still though, I'm proud of what we pulled together, the guys did a great job for their first music video too and the song is still dope of course!
