My brother in christ no horror mods as currently EXCEPT this one is technically immortal except the one who watches and he's alot different from the rest anyway, 90% of the others are just dwellers that you can either beat with iron or diamond gear smh.
I prefer big scary thing you cant kill, being able to kill anything i see kinda removes any fear or worry, if you could make god bleed people would stop beliving in him, same with scary monsters, if you can kill them and you know you can kill them, they arent scary anymore
Really like the idea you can only find it in previous versions and not the one with the Creaking on it, adds more to the mystery behind this... thing? Creature? Zoonglebob? Whatever it is, it adds more mystery to it
Yea, like if it has evolved itself, and saw that hunting down players is useless, as its powered by roots, not by xp and souls like the warden, and, that players always respawn. That’s why it evolved to be a defensive mob, to defend it’s lair from the player in a creepy place. Discouraging players from entering its biome.
If I could recommend something for future analyses, if you're playing with other Anomalies that spawn mobs for whatever reason (In this case, the John mobs spawning during this video), could you use a config file or something to disable their spawns so they don't interfere? The latter half of the vid was a little annoying with the multiple John creatures running around, almost constantly playing their sounds and adding unnecessary audio clutter. Otherwise, this was a good showcase. It's rather nice to get videos detailing "Dweller" type mobs without extremely irritating commentary. Also about the Wilted itself and it's lack of reward for trying to kill it, I sorta find that to be a plus. I feel with a horror-themed creature like this, players should always be concerned about it's arrival, not potentially wanting it to arrive in order to get loot out of it. Plus the way it is designed makes it frantic and challenging but still fair (Although I wish it wasn't able to immediately grab players again after you break free with a light source), with ways to avoid it such as leaving the foggy areas and being careful with multiple light sources, rather than being some extremely fast insta-killing lanky thing that is otherwise outsmarted by putting a couple blocks in front of your base's entrance.
The only reason people for some reason die to lame ass dwellers is because they usually like no armor, only Man From the Fog I think is an insta killer.
4:13 those are actually pale leafs from the pale garden biome, but I don’t know where they come from since the wilted doesn’t have any on its texture 🤔 (maybe the leafs comes from it’s oak tree form becouse pale oak leafs also fall with its disguise)
Actually, you can hurt it without using lights sources,by just disable the immunity from normal attacks using the config...but will still be tough fighting it cuz it grabs you and slam, mean annoying
The reason it's in the wrong era is likely this: It's not. The Wilted simply evolved to be more and more stationary, and imitate more and more trees, and then spawn weaker versions of themselves from their creaking hearts. Hence, the Pale Garden. But hey, that's just a theory.
Cool at first glance, but is extremely obnoxious in regular play and ends up feeling very much like any other dweller slop. From my experience, as soon as you hear the banging, you're done with whatever you were doing. It beelines towards you, sees you through walls, no way to hide or sneak like with much more competently done Warden. It griefs everything around you massively, pulls you through blocks out in the open. Very in-your-face, "it's all about me now" behaviour. Worst part is it won't let you go. If you were caught in your house or nearby you'll just be killed endlessly till the morning comes and there's nothing left from your builds. It's like it wants you to pretend to scream at it for 10 minutes in a throwaway world, upload it to YT and forget about it rather than enhance your minecraft world in any way. Endured it's presence for a few nights and then promptly deleted the mod. But it does look and sounds cool. Good idea, good modeling\design skills, very poor game design and implementation.
its nice that this guy has a unique weakness and actually has one, not just a big scary thing that chases you and you cant do anything about it
Or a big scary thing that is basically just a fast zombie or pigman with a ton of HP
he is immortal at night and dies only from the sun.

@@Surr3alD3sign In other words, your mind is completely limited and likes bad horror movies.

Missed opportunity to make the disguised oak as a pale oak tree
New analysis dropped! This is AWESOME
1:36 the Wilted is a warning that the new biome has emerged
Amazing vid as allways

No i hope they dont do that , it was quite silly and funny.

this one is good because its not just a constant threat that has 60% chance of killing you every ecounter
"It only appears at night" me asf: 🛌🛌🛌
so called dwellers when i get 8 hours of sleep
Fun fact:
Whenever the Wilted is hunting, you cant sleep

I like to imagine the slamming attack being used for something like the World of Warcraft "We Will Rock You" music video lol
5:02 Run boss! You’ve got to lose them!
It has a bug where when it covers a furnace items that were inside the furnace are duping.

The only way to fully avoid him is to sleep when night is coming, so i think its easy to deal with this creature
If you try, it’ll just say you can’t because you are being hunted.
@JackFrostSMTReal then just build a tower base
uncanny oak tree is an amazing idea!
The creaking before the creaking
I'm expecting a lot of content updates to this mod when 1.22 comes out
Wilter White is a surprisingly good Sculk Hoard fighter.

Fact:this mod is based on the creaking and pale garden update
Look like Elden ring enemy! Very cool design.
3:29 Dunking champion lol
Could you make a video showing all the mods you use while recording your videos? please! 😁
Also... The Wilted is not a dweller, don't insult the dev 💀
> Intended to be scary
> Stalks the player
> Shows up during the night
> Hard to beat
It's a dweller
Dwellers are typically just “loud thing that runs at you and randomly spawns” this thing actually has thought put into it
Could you do fungal: infection spore?
He will probably do it
İt like the only one left
Pun intended?
