पहला 1935 वाला और दूसरा माउंटबेटन योजना।
हो सकता है कि कई बार ऐसा हो की आप की परीक्षा में इस कार्यक्रम के 5-7 अपीसोट से एक भी प्रश्न न आए लेकिन इस की उपयोगिता को नकारा नहीं जा सकता है।

क्योंकि 1946 के चुनावों में मुस्लिम लीग ने अलग देश का नारा दिया था और कहा था अगर अलग मुस्लिम देश बनाना है तो मुस्लिम लीग को वोट दो । हम ज्यादा सीटें जीते तो अगैजो को अलग देश की मांग माननी पड़ेगी। नतीजा मुस्लिम लीग 95 % सीटों पर जीतनै में कामयाब रही। इन चुनाव परिणामों ने बंटवारे पर मुहर लगा दी ।

Ambedkar knew the adversities india going to face in future .. His vision of partition was complete nonviolence peacefully exchange of Muslim's and nonmuslims between india and Pakistan every single muslims to Pakistan Evey single non-Muslims to india like that happened between Greece and Turkey .. Not only ambedkar but many Congress leaders too believe the same but unfortunately that didn't happened ...

I have recently read book by Mihir Bose on 9 layers/ chapter of Indian Cricket. He has cited 2 stories related to Nehru. ICC ( Imperial Cricket Club) was waiting for India to decide whether they are joining commonwealth or not. Patel and others had suggested to not join, Nehru decided to join eventually and India’s test status was not removed . ICC mentioned that partition has not impacted Indian cricket team while truth was that we performed badly between 1947-50.

as usual wonderful episode, the more the citizens watch these kind of stuff, the better & clearer the history & historic events will be to them. especially in current times when so much of misinformation also flowing around. correct/true history is losing its relevance, moreover we can love it or hate it but cant ignore history.

THE ONLY TIME SHE BECAME A WIDOW WAS WHEN HER BELOVED HUSBAND THE KING EDWARD DIED IN 1972. Make your facts immaculate before you embark on them. Otherwise A GREAT VIDEO as always.

It is to noted that Labour and Tories had different approach to Indian independence. Had Churchill won election post WW2, then thete would have been no urgency to get out. We should understand the role played by British PM Attlee in the process.
If not Atlee, US would have surely pressured for it. Naval rebellion was key too as UK didnt have resources to handle it as the fire would have spread quickly.
If their own house is in mess, they would surely attempt to exit other rather than spend more.
But with this, I am not under value-ing the India Independence Movement or scarifices done by the others for the same cause.

This was a well deserved; well searched and timely article, favouring or disfavouring no one. The only point I beg to differ is- it appears from your discourse that British were dying to leave India after 1945. It is a fact that England was comparably weak and wasn’t able to handle the situation in India but the political activities and awareness happening in India was responsible for the freedom. Before this British faced many efforts against themselves but it was never a combined effort, not even in 1857. At least few Indian power seats were always with British. This time there was insurgence all over India. In 19 fourties’ , they were not facing troops which were in a few thousands. They were facing India citizen which were in many millions. This was the cause , they thought- it’s high time to leave India. They want not to get humiliated. Main cause was the unification and awareness in Indians. Secondary cause was the weakness of imperialism. It’s always the case. Whenever there is power change, it’s either way true. We can conclude the ruling authority was weak or the opponent was stronger. It’s always the difference between two.

Why Mtbatten stayed in India for one more year after 1947! India had to deal with more than 500 princely states. All these states plus Indian army and civil services were loyal to their Brits masters. In order to merge them peacefully and to keep away UN or other forces merger with India has to be legal and smooth. For that reason Mtbatten's presence was necessary. Everything went smoothly except Kashmir! Pakistan didn't want Mt Batten as governor and for that mistake it paid high price!

यहां पर यह बता देना आवश्यक होगा कि स्वतन्त्रता अधिनियम के लागू होने के बाद भारत को संप्रभुता की प्राप्ति भले ही डोमिनियन के तौर पर हुई थी, परंतु डोमिनियन होने का अर्थ यह नहीं था की स्वतन्त्रता अधिनियम के लागू होने के बाद भी ब्रिटिश शासक के पास भारत के मामले में दखल देने का कोई अधिकार था। ब्रिटिश शासक की मौजूदगी केवल नाममात्र की थी। इसके अतिरिक्त भारत के गवर्नर जनरल की भी मौजूदगी केवल नाममात्र की थी तथा गवर्नर जनरल के पास भी शासन के संबंध में निर्णय लेने का कोई अधिकार नहीं था। इस दौर में शासन के संबंध में निर्णय लेने का अधिकार केवल संविधान सभा और संविधान सभा के द्वारा चुनी हुई मंत्रिपरिषद के पास थी। इसके अतिरिक्त ब्रिटिश शासक गवर्नर जनरल की नियुक्ति भी भारत के मंत्रिपरिषद के परामर्श के बाद ही कर सकती थी जिसके लिए संविधान सभा की मंजूरी लेना आवश्यक थी।
