That looks like a fun trip. I might try it out myself. I was in Lake Havasu, AZ back in October. There were some places to offroad and have fun. The Trail Boss is very capable. I had one point where I was going up a steep grade of loose rock and dirt. I had the truck in 4lo and offroad mode. Once the wheels started spinning the electronic rear locker engaged and the truck made it up like it was nothing. I love this truck.

I have been looking at the Anza Borrego (not sure if I spelled that right) area for offroad trails. Bought a book recently and there's a couple blue and green trails. Definitely wouldn't do red trails in these trucks.
