An excellent video on one of the most dangerous and powerful Sith Lords in Galactic history and arguably the only one that was truly successful and hell he even died of old age which is EXTREMELY rare among Dark Lords of the Sith. Though you left out Marka Ragnos' biggest legacy, that being the one he trained to succeed him, he actually was the teacher of the most powerful and most evil Sith Lord in Galactic history: Tenabrae better known as Darth Vitiate or Valkorian whom was trained by Ragnos as his secret successor and arguably his most dangerous legacy as you could argue Palpatine based his entire Empire off of Vitiate's own Empire.

Marka Ragnos almost became an exception to Darth Bane's idea that Sith Empires are all doomed to fail but in the end even if you somehow unite the Sith, one way or another, infighting and kin strife will continue again. Whether you remain united for 10, 50 maybe a hundred years infighting will eventually return because that's just how the Sith are supposed to be.

It’s sad one of the greatest Dark lords of the sith of all time. He ruled the sith empire for a century and brought a golden age of the sith. Brought stability and prosperity and united. And less then a year after his death due to natural course. His legacy was destroyed thanks to the two dark lords rivalry. He knew his empires strengths and weaknesses. He left a worthy successor due to Tenebra. You might call him the Peter the great version of Star Wars.
This channel is wonderfully informative, especially for someone like me who doesn't know much about Legends. I learn a lot from watching it. But the narrator mispronounces names and words so often that I sometimes wonder if he's doing it on purpose. In this case, he's getting "stygian" wrong -- it rhymes with "pigeon." It's from Greek mythology, and is the adjective form of the river Styx, which is pronounced "sticks." The word "stygian" means dark, dismal, or murky, which is why it's used in the name of the nebula that surrounds the Sith worlds of the galaxy. They are dark both in optical terms (shrouded from view and from external light) and in terms of the Force. How is the narrator unfamiliar with not only the English word "stygian," but the river Styx itself AND the rock band named after it?
Wasn't the empire stable under Vitiate for longer than Ragnos? If Ragnos reigned for a century (or close to it) then it has nothing on Vitiate's 300+ year stability during his incarnation of the Sith Empire
Well, that's not true. Because following the 1st Galactic War The Reconstituted Sith Empire Under Darth Vitiate devolved to in-fighting. Not only that, but by that time Tenebrae was literally already building his own Empire at the edges of wild space on Zakuul BECAUSE he became disillusioned with the Sith Order.
