I had a sample a few months ago, and I was blown away. The sillage is heavenly. It's a classic fragrance with a modern twist. It doesn't smell like an old man. People will be drawn to the scent. Great appeal!!!
Been collecting fragrances for 20 years, have/had many bottles and samples. Purchased Ganymede at Xmas, it is easily the most complimented fragrance I’ve owned. I think I’ve found what I’ve been looking for in fragrances.

You, of all people, should know better than worry about the opinions of others when it comes to the watch you're wearing. If you start worrying about the opinions of others you may as well only wear the fragrances that make it to Jeremy's top 10 compliment getters list. Your watch looks great. Ganymede is too beast mode for me. Same goes for Beach Hut Man. Both have room filling projection
Beast mode? From a new bottle it isn't (what a surprise). I have 10ml Encelade from a bottle opened 2 months ago and it's so so strong! Yesterday everyone in post office turned their heads in my direction. 3 sprays and it wouldn't stop projecting and lasting. That's what I call a fragrance!

Nothing wrong with that watch Dan! My day to day wear is a € 35,- Olympic, so it won't hurt my wallet when it breaks.
About this perfume; I keep hearing about it, and I think I should get my nose into it.
I also hope your perfumes make it to the mainland of Europe one day. Those seem to be straight up my alley.
I found Ganymede at ZGO in San Francisco for $240...you got a good deal. It is one of my favorites for a night out. It smells like sophistication, intrigue and romance.
Mr. Smelly, you are my influence when it comes to my perfume taste. I'm trying to get into watches too currently, to get my first automatic mechanical watch. I'm narrowing my choice to Seiko Prospex divers, Orient divers, and Tissot classic series. A Rolex is way beyond my means.
Ganymede is nice, but in my opinion „Bois Imperial by Essential Perfumes“ is more wearable.
It’s by the same perfumer „Quentin Bisch“…so, go check it 😉
Btw…the Bois Imperial is 75€ for 100ml 😎 and beastmode for a Freshie.
Those two are perfect example of subjectivity about smells (fragrances). Got myself a bottle of Bois and sold it day after. Today got a 100ml of Ganymede and that's IT! My friend can't wear Gany but he's blown with Bois. This is like Gany DNA for everybody! Awesome thing Barrios did here.
I don't really understand Ganymede. Tried many times and it does not catch me. Instead, Encelade is great for me from same brand, so I bought a bottle almost instantly.

Great fragrance. Tried it in a shop the other day. Smells fresh and green to me. Very nice, very unique.
Nice! Got mine from the same shop last year. Ganymede on me smells like a newly opened toy. Its amazingly clean and new if those two have a scent.
