Filming fox cubs in a cemetery.

- Cemeteries can be great places to film wildlife as birds and mammals become very used to people here. Even in our city centres all sorts of wildlife can be found in graveyards. Filmed with the OM-1 and Lumix GH6. I had both cameras running at the same time on two tripods.
Thanks to Frederic Desmette for showing me this site for filming these beautiful fox cubs.

One of the most enchanting videos. Thanks for posting Mike.
Very welcome
I used to feed foxes and my wife loved to watch them. I live at the edge of town, so it was easy for them to emerge from wilder areas. Unfortunately, my wife died in November 2019. During the spring of 2020, after the foxes had failed to appear for a while, they reappeared. The two parents brought two cubs to the house as if to show them off. It saddens me a great deal that my wife never saw them.
I have lived in the country for 25 years, and hardly ever see a fox, and certainly never close by. Enjoyed the footage, it's so nice to be able to see these cubs and the beautiful vixen through your camera.
Glad you enjoyed it
Move to a city, they're everywhere !

Another great video Mike. Not a cup of coffee in sight!
Something I must have said in the past me thinks.
That was very special.
Thank you.
Beautiful. Noticing our red fixes in us have black legs. Nice work
Very different coat colour too I thought
Stunning video as always.
Thank you! Cheers!
Mike you blow me away.
I had a stool exactly like your one which of course will never fit in a camera bag.
Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought about the dual purpose of hanging it around my neck as a fashion accessory that would also double as a seat lol
I though they put the head sized hole there just for that very purpose!
@@MikeLaneFRPS Awesome lol.
Now I have learned two things in two weeks.
Last week I learned if I ever share a hide with you I must never leave my camera unguarded lol
Honestly though why the guy let you pick up his camera in the first place is beyond me.
Cameras are like firearms, you never pick up or let someone pick yours up without asking first.
You must have felt terrible but it all worked out in the end lol
Hi Mike, love foxes, such a beautiful animal. New subscriber here
Thanks for subbing!
You’re right Mike a truly wonderful sight. Made my Saturday.

I enjoyed this one Mike, I had four evening visits to a local den and came away with a handful of keepers, and grateful of the solitude
Very nice experience.

Wonderful footage of these beautiful animals Mike.

Loved seeing these foxes. I was trying to figure out what they are eating from the ground. Some type of bug maybe?
SOOO CUTE! They looks a bity squinty. But in an adorable way.
I think so too!
Really enjoyed the video. Great stills too. Thanks Mike.
Glad you enjoyed it

Very welcome
A beautiful family of foxes. Nice video Mike.
Many thanks!
🎉Thanks Mike cheered me up 😮
They are cute
Lovely video Mike great to see the family altogether. Did you film that with your om1 or panasonic. I have not upgraded my firmware yet to 1.5 its supposed to have improved the video ? Cheers.
I used both. Two tripods and two cameras rolling. I have done the fimrware 1.5 update on one OM-1 body, but not the other. This allowed me to compare the two. First was sped of AF. They both seem the same. Then stickability. Did the focus stay on the subect such as a swimming duck. I could see no difference.
What a neat experience. Thanks for sharing it.
Our pleasure!
I enjoyed that. Beautiful animals although I know most farmers would shoot them.
And every year so many foxes have to dy only for hunter's gratification.
