    This IS BEAUTIFUL ❤
    umbrella plants are my favorites. You have inspired me to try to do something like this with one of my scheffleras. Thank you!🙏🏻

      You two competed for my morning coffee break the other morning, that’s for sure.

    Your greenhouses have really given you the level of humidity you needed to get those aerial roots pouring out. I hope it pops a few more near the base, allow it to hug the ground a bit tighter.
    I got to imagine it’s gonna blow up this year, with all those extra roots feeding the tree higher up. It’s about to get exciting.

      Thanks! I am hoping the same thing. Once that warm summer sun hits it I think it'll take off.

      Thanks Carlos! Btw, the weather looks great where you're at. I was watching your spring clean up and got super excited for spring just from watching.

    One of those times where you need four or five hands! Came out nice though. I feel like your collection is really starting to mature, lots of interesting trees. Cheers!

      Thank you! And yeah I was thinking that recently too actually. Most, (if not all of them), still have a long way to go before being in their "final form." If there is such a thing.

    Put a small boat wreck underneath it

    • @BonsaiBoise
      @BonsaiBoise  2 года назад +2

      That's in my top 3 ideas so far. Along with the ancient temple or some kind of rock formation.

    Is there a reason you didn't wire the roots even though it's so top heavy.

    • @BonsaiBoise
      @BonsaiBoise  Год назад +1

      I usually don't. And this one is an inside tree so it's not exposed to wind and that kind of thing.

    How do u get thicker trunks?

    • @BonsaiBoise
      @BonsaiBoise  2 года назад

      Let the tree grow way out, then chop it back. Then way out again, then chop it back again.

    Am I the only one disliking aerial roots?🤔 I use to cut them off🙈

      I'm getting picky about them too. At first I just wanted to try and get some to grow, then once I did, it was almost too many! I started to see that it was taking away from the trunk getting thicker.
