Our family is singing that song at my mother's funeral on the 14th of April. Mom was born raised and married on the Islands. Many generations buried on those islands. So many memories.
I have several fingerpicking renditions of this beautiful song, and this one has definitely moved up to the top of my list to learn! The strumming is simple, and it’s nice to be challenged by the fingerpicking. Thank you! ❤️

At ‘āhihi you wrote G7 for two beats, and at lehua it says F for two beats. Shouldn’t that be reversed? This is the same in the part where you hum. I am sorry to correct you...
