Perfect coach for this young team. This for all intents and purposes is Jalen’s rookie season. Remember he’s only one year older than Amen. He will continue to evolve as an all around player with this coaching staff.

AP needs to play better defense. The team is not Building around AP. Jalen and Amen are your future All Stars. As much as your banter for AP he is not an All Star center until he gets better defensively. Period. AP is a very good post offensive player. He can’t block shots. He is lost defensively away from the basket. The Rockets are not building around AP. Just let him be a good player. You don’t cover up your center’s defensive liabilities on a championship team.

We really don't; we just got a chance to recover due to the All-Star break. I love Jalen, but it's his recent elite play, along with Amen's hard play and Fred's consistency that's covering his loss. We aren't better without him; we were nowhere near our full potential all season due to injuries.
