And what a show. I love how Ghost can do anything - from Creepy to Funny. I loved every Cardinal Copia spoken intervention. It was my first time seeing them Live, but compared to the videos I've seen, I think Tobias has grown much more confident as a Frontman / entertainer..... maybe since he was officially unmasked, now he's like "What the fuck, let's all have FUN.."
I'll always remember it as the only time I actually felt compelled to leave the house to see a ( great ) show in the Zenith venue of my hometown ... before I moved to Los Angeles... I will be seeing them in Los Angeles in 2022 - and they better play Griftwood and Respite on the Spitalfields... Darkness at the Heart of my Love...
Let me start off by saying that im not a huge fan of the meaning behind their lyrics as it seems overly satanic BUT that being said MAN DO THEY PUT ON A HELL OF A GOOD SHOW and i cant stop but banging my head along with the music they are really good plain and simple
As for their lyrics, around Meliora they started to introduce more Fremasonry related lyrics and videos. The most obvious being "Square Hammer", but also the video for 'From The Pinnacle To The Pit" ...etc Up to the new album Impera.
Yes, Papa II was my favorite in terms of look, he was scarier but still with a cool sense of humor. But then the music evolved ( it's not as dark anymore ) and so the look had to evolve as well. But I have to say Impera is by far my favorite Ghost album. All their records have great songs. But Impera is like a 9/10 ( I hate Hunter's Moon... too gimmicky )
I wish I knew about this band 3 years ago, man I would have enjoyed my life even more

Same. I can relate. I don't listen to their songs that are overly satanic like Year Zero. But I enjoy the rest.
