Excellent video. So nice this truck has been saved and restored. You passed on some interesting information about milk delivery in days gone by.

Well, you point out in another video how, if the Ruckstell 2 speed axle gets accidentally stuck between gears you have no brakes since a Model T has a trans brake. So considering that, 25 mph is about as fast as I’d want to drag my feet anyway! What a beautiful truck.

They didn't have vinyl sign plotters then, but they did have professional sign painters, which I was one, and know the difference.

(Posted by Rick Pickell) Ihave and oan a home built the same year as this truck is. It is .icated at the end of a Nebraska minimum maintenance road. I am just imagining trucks and cars like this one. Having the same struggles I have had. Getting up up and down that silt filled caked on muddy road from time to time.

With an overdrive auxillary transmission and express gears in the rear you can get 45 mph.

What a beautiful truck! What size and dimensions of the wood in the back and the size of the bed itself?

How do you engage the starter on that TT? Very informative video thanks

Same at any other 1919-1927 model t with electric start. The starter button is on the floor near where your left heel would sit on the floor boards or by using the hand crank with your left hand.

Interesting that you mention that you were driving at it’s maximum speed of 25 mph … but you only had the gas lever down about four notches. What if you advanced the gas about ten more notches?

The engine would over speed. It is not recommended to exceed 1500 rpm of the Model T engine.

If it is 1926 why does it have oil lamps on the cowl and for a tail light and narrow pedals as 25 and earlier?

This particular truck is made up of parts of parts of 2 trucks. The original motor was destroyed. The original truck and the majority of it is 1925. The motor and title are from a 1926. I suppose I could just call it a 1925.

Many model T’s are a mishmash of parts. I’m sure my 26 TT has acquired some incorrect parts over the last century or so.

It is not a "CAR", it is a TRUCK. I had to stop watching because it was driving me crazy and I couldn't pay attention to anything else.......
