I wonder....if my clutch spring (I have a '26 Runabout) is bad or weak could that cause the hard shifting? My transmission doesn't slip, but when I shift to 'High'' it feels like the car is falling apart and it has no power for a bit. Could be operator error.

Those tr135 valve stems are made to be hand bendable so you can make your own angled valve stem, I would have probably bent the stem 90 degrees so it could stick out of the hole in the front.

Thanks so much for the walk through. I notice the manual states to 'inspect the thrust bearing regularly'. Any idea how is that done? Turns out I've been using the wrong grease for 20 years-- oops.

I couldn't get the rod inside cylinder to rotate from the top. Being plastic parts, I was concerned it would break with to much pressure. I had to reach down to the bottom of the rod and then rotate the rod from there. It was a snug fit but with some pressure did rotate to the left. A 15 minute repair. Thanks

My problem is the gasket on the bottom that's rotted away. I can't find any videos on how to replace that.

This toilet is CRAP no pun intended, you're spending extra money for nothing "super flush" technology my ass in time the whole assembly will rust and you will not be able to separate the tank from bowl, better off buying a simple standard design toilet where the tank and bowl have simple gaskets, and the tank is held in place with big accessible plastic wingnuts

Where did you press the starter button? My uncle used to have a Model T and his was in the floor, he pressed it with his foot.

The first thing should be to make sure gas is coming thru the hose and getting to the carb, if not then fix why it isn’t, if yes then remove the carb.

Add hydraulic brakes!, needed with or without Ruckstell, the Ford Driveshaft brake is inadequate by every measure (Rocky Mountain Drums is not nearly as good as hydraulic)

I pulled out the jet inside the float bowl. It was plugged. Cleaned it with carburetor cleaner as well. Put it together like you said and it still doesn’t run. I have the fuel on., etc..

This actually helped me understand the Ruckstell two speed rear end MUCH better. On google its hard to find good information on this. The base Model T just had a two speed but then I heard about the Two speed additional rear end High/Low meaning you basically had a four speed transmission. I am wondering, did this increase the overall top speed of the Model T? Did it lengthen the normal gear ratio or was the High gear ratio similar to the Ratio found in the normal Two speed transmission without the Ruckstell Differential?
