I think creating a rocket to fly to Mars is easier....but thanks for the video it's very information. My friends 508 battery died and the dealer is asking a kidney to change it. This video would help greatly.

Thanks for video, I followed this to the letter but now car won't turn over, everything else seems to work but just refuses to turn over. It was fine an hour ago on the old battery but the cold weather was finding it out hence the reason to change it.

Really nice video, but wich yearmodel? Mine is a 2011, and has no airfilter in front like that.
Anyhow, I managed to take out old battery and install new one, but the then car would not start! Spoke to branddealer, they will need to take the car to the garage and reset all systems.
Just so that people are aware. "One must always keep giving the car power from a source whwn switching batteries".
Maybe I have been told something untrue by the dealer, but worth keeping in mind.

pretty horrible place to put a battery not easy to get it out but the video helped with a 5008 for a 2013 1.6d model
