Yuchen Liu, a graduate of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, is a post-90s artist who adheres to traditional painting styles. She is also the founder of an academic art institution and has held her exhibitions at Beijing’s 798 Art District. When discussing art, she mentioned that in this era, there are already few people who appreciate art, and that creation is meaningful primarily to the creator themselves. In her ink-drawn black and white scenes, we see her awakening to self-awareness, her understanding of complex human nature, and her gradual process of transcending herself.
毕业于中央美术学院的刘俞辰是坚持传统绘画风格的90后艺术家，同时也是学院派美术机构创始人，曾在北京798举办过自己的个展。在谈及艺术的时候，她说也许现在这个时代看画的人已经不多了，创作对创作者本身才是有意义的。我们在她用墨笔勾勒的黑白图景里，看见她对自我意识的觉醒，看见她对复杂人性的理解，看见她逐渐超越自己的过程。
