omg the talk about laughing gas and drug usage is so true. I had multiple intense surgeries as a child then temporarily fell into an opioid addiction that still affects me💀

i live in europe and i find it craazy that dentists in us give laughing gas to kids
no same laughing gas is what made me start craving drugs as a kid then experimenting as i got older
I could literally SCREAM WHAT DREW WAS ON ABOUT IN THE END. keeping some of your interests private and not a public entity ohmygoddd. Im not a content creator by any means, but I relate to this on a more personal level HARD. Hearing you talk about it literally scratched that irritating itch thats been in my brain for months now, like so surreal.
the composition of this thumbnail is fascinating. the blank, open space that surrounds drew and enya places them at the centre of the emergency intercom universe, with the line of the corner of the wall dividing the space between them. as observed, drew’s side takes up a significantly larger proportion of the space compared to enya’s side when using the corner as a dividing point between the setup. this could represent drew’s increasing presence in the emergency intercom universe and how it continues to compress enya into a submissive and trifling existence.
building on this idea, drew places himself above enya in the composition, sitting on a more adorned and larger chair while also being taller than her. this further depicts drew as a more powerful and overbearing figure that seeks to forbid enya from attaining either equality or superiority.
additionally, drew sits to the left of the light switch and directly in front of the air conditioning controller that once again solidifies the extent of his reign over this universe. he has full control over the air conditioning mechanics, as well as the ability to switch the lights in the room on and off as he pleases. in comparison, two plugs appear on enya’s side of the room which she is incapable of using without a complementary device. the plugs also appear significantly higher than her position, suggesting the strain she must go through to reach any sort of feeling of control.
enya’s mug pictured beside her shows two alike individuals, that very much resemble the gemini twins in astrology. in greek mythology, the gemini twins are named castor and pollux, with castor being the mortal son of king tyndarus and pollux being the immortal son of zeus. in this scenario, it can be inferred that enya represents castor (her weakened state alike to mortality) and drew represents pollux (his image of superiority alike to immortality). though castor is killed in battle, pollux pleads with zeus to bring him back. zeus agrees to immortalise both twins as long as they spend half of their time on earth and the other half amongst the heavens.
this current episode features a green plant, showing that enya and drew (representing castor and pollux) are at the stage of zeus’s agreement of spending half their time on earth. in future episodes, symbols of stars and space are to be expected as to signify the two spending the other half of their existence in the heavens as zeus required of them.

Judging by the comments I've seen, I'm pretty sure I don't fit the demographic that usually watches but, I still love this podcast so much because its just such a beautiful window into your lives and the L.A. life style. I also really enjoy hunting down all the media you guys throw in at the end. Honestly some absolute fire tracks and movies. (Enya stop gate keeping please, I already know who drake is, give me some steamy takes) Anyway, I hope one day to meet you all in person during a fan met up or some other appropriate venue.
