+BBN Islamic teachings are never denied Big Bang theory. Even, Its also mentioned in the God's final revelation to humankind.
for more reference you can read the following article:

      Waseem Ahmed
“And the heaven We created with might, and indeed We are (its) expander.” (Quran 51:47)
This is simply referring to the kingdom of heaven, not the space.
It even said it was created with strength while we are told God made the universe by spoken words. So they are not referring to the created universe here, but the kingdom whose expansion depends on how many converts the have on earth.
The next verse went ahead to say
"And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer."(Quran 51:48)
The preparer here refers to people that convert souls for the expansion of the kingdom of heaven.
You know one thing about Bible and Quaran? They are written to mean everything and open to different interpretation to suit anything. They are the most highly non-objective text I have ever come across.

+BBN Islam has no problem with big bang theory!
"that do not the unbelievers see that the Heavens and the Earth were joined together and We clove them asunder"
Surah Anbiya, Ch. 21, Verse No. 30,
The problem is you start taking Allah for a super human unfortunately. Allah is not like anything or anyone. What Allah intends he says "Be" and it comes into being. With Strength does not mean that Allah did it with his hands or by using his force, no , He exercised his power and HE is Almighty. It is that might due to which what he intended, started to exist! This is His Might not the physical might which you are imagining to prove that there's a contradiction. Allah is not like anyone. Stop imagining him as a Super Human Diety! He is not like anyone!

Abubakar Farooqui I don't know much about creation in Islam. I'm aware of how the bible told it. The bible said God made man is his own image and likeness.
      What does that tell us?
Secondly, I have been saying this before now. Man invented the idea of God. We know we don't know how we got here, but gone are the days when man thought we were put here by a being, and the only purpose it to serve him.
The whole Allah thing is a theory to account for an existence we attribute things we have little of no understanding of.
People in that time would believe the telephone to be witch craft. We have made progress much more than men that lived in the bible and Surah times. All they knew was war...invade and take over because a voice told them so.
You know, you can keep believing in that while we build upon the world we find ourselves in.
Human is becoming more intelligent than before. So we believe we were not made just to do the will of an almighty being.
We have our thoughts and we can let it run as wild as it can. Fear of a god is how human tend to control this our powerful mind.
And believe me, religion can be a source of morales for children BUT that doesn't mean it is the absolute source of morale for religious morales itself is highly subjective.
