Thank you I've been looking for a video on this subject.! But I have a question and I will explain why,
I make portrait quilts and I make my own pattern pieces and they have to be exactly the size I draw them out at, how do I make sure they are my correct size before I cut them on my Cricut maker? How do you know it is the correct size when you scan it into the silhouette software ?, I have the business addition of the sillhouette software I use to make it an svg file. I've also ordered the new 24 inch silhouette cameo 4 cutter, hope I can use it for my landscape and wildlife appliqué quilts!

When you pull it into Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio you can click the image and you should see the measurements in the bar across the top. I usually have to change the size when I save it in Silhouette Studio as an SVG and then download it and open it in Cricut Design space. I look at the measurements of the image in Silhouette Studio and make it the same in Cricut Design Space. Does that answer your question. If not let me know.

How do you make sure it scans into Silhouette at the correct size? Are you scanning something with straight sides? If so you should be able to measure your portrait. Make sure you grab the image on a corner so as not to elongate the picture. Does that make sense.

I think you should make one inch box with your image when you upload into software.

I want to know about that T-shirt you're wearing! I love it! Can you share how to make it and where you got the design? TIA! 😃

Yes, I did make it. I found the design in the Silhouette Design Store. Here is a video on how I cut out htv and press multiple layers. I don't have a video making this particular shirt, but it is the same concept. Do you have a cutting machine?

You are fabulous . Do you think silhouette software is easier to turn pictures into Sven files or design space ?

If you are asking about SVG's it actually is about the same.
      hope this helps
