When apex still had huge potential and was fun, seeing how it turned out almost makes me sick. I hate respawn and ea for missing such a golden opportunity and destroying such an amazing game

I'm sorry but its two entirely different thing. titanfall is an under the radar game with a tiny niche community of try/die hards that are close knit. Apex is THE mainstream BR game where anyone and everyone is in it, besides maybe kids who are still playing fortnite. Because apex is mainstrean, you get all the big streamers and whatnot, but also all the shit heads who will shit talk, leave your game, or troll. Hell alot of the people who played this game probably never played, or even knew that titanfall existed.

@@stickkey Most of the players came from Fortnite. Fortnite pulled in many new BR players, since PUBG wasn't friendly to new players. Fortnite was easy to get into. Over the seasons Fortnite pulled in more players. Even if they weren't happy with the game, everyone was playing Fortnite, so it kept growing. Apex came out and those who weren't happy with Fortnite (myslef included) tried it out. Apex is back down in viewers and Fortnite still has more active players. Apex is still only big because of Shroud and a few other streamers.
Respawn, you guys are slowly restoring my faith in bigger game developers. So many games now a days are stinking piles of ish that are rushed to make as much money as possible. With apex, I find myself genuinely enjoying playing more then I ever thought I would with br. Thank you for being the dev team that you guys are and putting as much bst into this game as you have!

@@The10thmansquestions The difference is that this is a fully finished game with only minor bugs. The map was leaked over a year ago, this was not a rushed game. Every game will have problems but a fully functioning product at launch is a big step for the Battle Royale genre.
They actually did not tell EA till it was just done so that EA couldnt make it pay to win. Look it up.

@@173.07 I like Fortnite but Apex is better imo. Little kids kinda ruined the random teams on fn and I'm just not great at building but it's different enough to where you can enjoy both games. But the only reason I still play Fortnite is because Apex made them give out a free battle pass lol.

@whateverrevetahw I kinda disagree with a ranked mode, the whole point of a battle royale is you have no idea who you're up against so you have to play smart and careful against every player, having a ranking system would just create more problems like splitting the player base and having Smurf accounts run rampant since it's a free game.

To be fair, it’ll probably get harder and harder to have so many closely skilled players in a match. Right now the game’s booming, but unfortunately a lot of people will probably drop it after trying it for a bit. And then there will be a smaller population, and hence, it’ll be harder and harder to find good matches. The queue time will also be considerably lengthened, which isn’t a problem right now with how short it is, but it’ll be problematic later. Even the most played online game, LoL, has 1-2 minute wait times with games of TEN players. Imagine the wait time for the amount of players in Apex
Skill based match maker will only increase que times. Not to mention, single and duo modes will eventually come and that by itself will increase the que time.
