I was in 2nd Std, 2002, when this movie was shown to us at school on children's day celebration.
Although we were kids but the fear for that character still gives us chills.
I still remember we (the students) use to hold each other's hands when she enters. And I remember one of our fellow peed during it 😂
It is still one of my favorite memory from childhood

When i saw Vishal in mardani2 i was completely blown by his brilliance the perfection with which he played a crazy psychopath is truly terrific nd that too in his debut, his character was so intense, any other bollywood A lister wouldn't hv imagined to portray this type of character its very disheartning he didn't got any more movies after this type of performance

I agree ASUTOSH RANA.. is nightmare as we grew in that era.. I could never sleep after watching his dark shaded role. Bollywood hasn’t got any one like that till this date.
Shahrukh's Darr is a milestone for bollywood!!!So was I amazed my Vishal in Mardaani 2 and Ranveer in Padmaavat....But I must say, Vishal took it to another level with his scary eyes, his horrifying persona which quakes me even now...I still remember the way I went to hysterics when I watched the terrifying sight of him!!!
Abe Gokul pandit ko kaise bhol gya from dushman even he better than lajja Shankar from sangharsh . He was one of the most great villian character in indian cinema .

Is Darr better than Baazigar? Damn, SRK's villain was so convincing and seductive that I almost believed him even if I knew what was he actually up to. Outright terrifying. I'm not the greatest fan of early 90s action, but if you say that Darr is worth it I will catch up.
@@ELisa-qf2mw Well I too haven't entirely watched Darr, just bits and parts of it, but if u really wanna ask whether it's worth it, then go for it! It might not be as good as Baazigar but Shahrukh 's spectacular performance will definitely leave you rooting for him!

See Gokul pandit is psyopath killer and serial rapist and one of the most important point that he is main character and the storyline is focused on him and main protagonist and in sangansh his character given very few screen space , the storyline is totally focused on hero and herione not him .

For a very long time, I was even afraid to look at Ashutosh Rana in any of his movies. I was extremely terrified of him. When I grew up and that's when I finally understood that how brilliant of an actor he is, that I started following his works.

Gabbar is the best of all since he was one associated with our childhood memories. His atrocities triggered that feeling of hate whenever we see it. Kitney aadmi the....iconic dialogue...
Ashutosh Rana as lajjashankar Pandey was the most terrifying of them all since this character was watched when we were in college.
Katya played by Danny was horrifying.
Khilji was another villain played superbly by Ranvir.
