Driving the NEW 2026 F1 car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife - IS IT POSSIBLE?
The 2026 FIA Formula one car has been shown! One of the bigger changes is the new DRS/MOM system! MOM stands for Manuel Override Mode and is the successor of DRS (drag reduction system). This system is created to make overtaking even easier!
The Drag Reduction System - which has been a feature of grand prix racing since 2011 - will be no more from the end of next season. Instead it will be replaced by F1’s new ‘Manual Override Mode’. But what is it? And how does it work? I will showcase it to you in this video!

Let's bring back those days where different engine manufacturers built v8, v10 and v12 engines and add balance of performance! back in those days formula 1 was stunning and had a better show then nowadays 😢

@@tnt-thelorofwar8513Well, until 1994 the engines were chosen by the manufacturers, it was only in 1995 that they were standardized

@@lucianofilho1935 Ferrari still used their V12 until the 1995 season, Jean Alesi’s Candian GP win that year being the last win for a V12 in F1.
1998 was the first season that all engines were the same layout - in 1997 Tyrrell raced with a Ford V8, Lola entered (but didn’t race) with a different spec of Ford V8 and Minardi raced with a Hart V8
I was just going to say this. Somehow the choice of V8 -10 or -12 should be balanced but not an ongoing BoP during the season ideally

I would actually love to see the 2026 cars without halo’s. They already remind me of the older cars, but that would look too cool.

Finally some good noise.
I'd like to see some sound mods that are actually modern interpretations of different engine configurations of the past. And just more sound mods in general. I made a V8 version of the Hybrid Evo X from RSS and pitched up a V8 sound from a different car for something unique like this. I wish there was more. I'd love to hear an idea of what a modern V8 or V10 or V12 F1 engine would sound like.
Also, I wish F1 would take a page from the sportscar book. They've managed to get close racing from a wide variety of configurations and ideas. On top of that, they have the best feeder series ladders of all time going on right now. I feel like, if it wasn't run by a bunch of rich gambling addicts, F1 could be something unlike anything we've seen before. But sadly it's being held back.
Oh yeah, that sounds so good. Formula 1 cars had better days... 2026 regulations sounds awful ruins the whole point of the grand prix's, only reason why we come out is to hear that engine in action going around the track at it's limits... expirence the pure joy in the sound.

I don't know why they don't just add a 5 cylinder engine. Revving to 12k RPM with the an open wastegate it would sound very similar to a v10, and even more environmentally friendly. To make up the HP deficit they could just release the heavy restrictions on everything else (fuel flow, battery, turbos, etc)
Because None of the current manufacturers makes 5 cylinder cars.

What if the proposed 2026 car didn't look like a fat little kid who's parents don't make them exercise and give them McDonald's all the time.
It would weigh about 100 kg less for starters.
i still got no interest with the 2026 f1 car, its just the aero system that changes nothing else, and it only became smaller a little bit and making it looks like f2, and its just the engine 50% electric, thats all bruu

None of the street course would like the increase in nose level remember you could hear the v10s from miles away. V10s aren’t coming back.

Chassis looks good but looks ugly n T cam. The sides of the cockpit is so wide.

You still do not use the x-mode in straights or low lateral acceleration sections of 4 seconds and more. That's hardly representative of those regulations, knowing that this mod is itself not representative of 2026 cars at all.
I do use it, but the hud doesn't show it
I see it used only in the drs zone, right? (that is what the TV cam shows). Videos from other creators clearly show that you can use it at will.
@@Ogamisugizo I can only use it in the drs zones, yeah.. but I should be able to fix that (its works as drs in Assetto Corsa) I need to change the drs.ini files then it should work for the whole track

V10 engines are my wet dream. But it's not gonna happen. Instead they insist with te boring V6 turbo hybrid. Really boring sound.

Honestly, people loves v10s only because nostalgia. If they changes enginies to v10s, it will has 2 years nostalgia orgasm, but it won't solve boring races, weighted cars and constant dominances.
