    I've been on medical marijuana for over a year. It has done wonders for me with different ratios of cannabinoids. I mostly use CBD with CBG during the daytime to help with focus and anxiety because of my ADHD and Autism. I mostly use THC at night as a sleep aid and to help with migraines.

    Hiii. I just want a regulated and fully well researched cannabis industry that stops covering up the negative effects while exaggerating the good ones. Too many times I've been told I could cure or fully treat my ADHD and anxiety disorder with cannabis. 😮‍💨

    • @jackbarnes5589
      @jackbarnes5589 3 месяца назад +2

      Try isolated cannabinoids. CBG is the cannabinoid that is being researched to help treat ADHD. Sativa strains can also help with focus. Depends what is available where you are.

      @@jackbarnes5589I think one of the largest issues (at least here in America) is that individual compounds aren’t properly studied. Even more important is that buying a CBD/THC/CBx/THx/whatever “cannabis-derived compound) only shows what compounds MAY be in what you take. It’s nearly impossible to get clear, accurate data for the spectrum of compounds as well as if any toxins/pesticides may make your “weed/CBD” toxic to inhale.

      @@nothanks9503can we have formed
      regulations to be “non taxing” like. W,e testing on the plants and w,e process checked can be paid by the state (through w,e state agency). I’m sure it’s more complicated than that . But just role with me. No toxic bs in the weed and a consistent eye on it and not completely on the dollar of the company itself .
      2. If it’s a matter of it literally being too expensive even with the non taxing regulations. Like they neeeeed to put semi suspect to make it cheap. Then my camp is on… make it expensive.

    Melatonin regulates the biological sleep cycle. It doesn't make you sleepy per se. Is CBN doing the same thing, or does it have a different mechanism that improves sleep quality? Is it more like Benadryl?
    Edit: melatonin didn't do much for me. My sleeplessness is due to anxiety and ADHD. I envy people who can just fall asleep and wake up well rested after 8 hour sleep. I hope CBN turns out to be a real thing for sleep issues.

    • @soccrstar4
      @soccrstar4 3 месяца назад

      I’m a mere pharmacy technician, so please take all of this with a mountain of salt. What melatonin does is it works within 15-20 minutes, telling your brain it’s time for bed. It works wonderfully for adjusting time zones or if your sleep schedule is completely thrown off- it’s a factory reset. That being said, it shouldn’t be a nightly medication, otherwise you’re “resetting” your biological clock every night. Alternative sleep aids such as Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Unisom (doxylamine succinate) are antihistamines. These (generally speaking) put your body in a state of sleepiness (one of many things your histamine receptors regulate). However, antihistamines last far longer in your system and are far more likely to cause morning grogginess. If you can’t sleep comfortably, please speak with your doctor first or your pharmacist second. Sleep is tricky but so important- I hope you feel like you get enough to function!!

    • @reeeraptor8
      @reeeraptor8 3 месяца назад

      huh that would be interesting as im pretty sure thc can also release melatonin so if CBN is doing a similar thing to melatonin I wonder how that would work, cause some strains have over 1% CBN in them (THC dom strains that is)

    • @nothanks9503
      @nothanks9503 3 месяца назад

      Melatonin is almost always not melatonin unless you get it from a pharmacy with a prescription there’s no legal obligation for it to have what it claims to have

    Is it possible to learn exactly how much CBD enhances the effects of certain prescription drugs? Could there be a possibility that with this knowledge doctors could prescribe lower doses of a drug and prescribe CBD to go aling with it to enhance positive effects without enhancing the negative side effects? Or in the cases where severe conditions appear to be treatment resistant, could they add CBD to the treatment that already has high dosage of a certain drug?

    • @soccrstar4
      @soccrstar4 3 месяца назад +3

      Your doctor should (but in my experience never does) mention drug-to-drug interactions. Go to your local pharmacist- they explicitly told me to stop a medication while I took Pavlovid for Covid. Pharmacists are incredibly knowledgeable about medications & their interactions. I hope you get your answers and find your best medication regiment 🙏🏻

    CBD for sleep, made me feel about 1/10th as bad (groggy) as Ambien did and worked similarly for me (the initial feeling).
    I couldnt function on Ambien yet the effects were similar. They prolly should find a better way to dose out Ambien; injestion of that substance is so dangerous.

    Someone who absolutely does NOT support smoking pot since it gives me migraines and I kinda hate that smoking it has become legal....and I ABSOLUTELY do not love the idea of pot becoming legal because of that... I looked into and tried CBD oil for my chronic pain out of desperation. Nope bot for me....BUT it reduced the frequency of my migraines.....and it is my belief that it was due to an anti-anxiety property it had.....so... If that's not results idk what is. Since I just tried it and apparently it just started helping me with my migraines 🙃. Like I never played with the doses, and I got pregnant and I stopped taking it so, idk the full ability what it could have done for me. So idk....I am all for looking into canabis as a medical resource, but stop smoking it, PLEASE 🙏.
    I should point out, migraines are currently treated by a anti-seizure medicine, so it could very easily also be along those lines too. 🤷‍♀️

      As a fellow sufferer of migraines, any kind of cigarettes trigger mine. And I have never smoked, just smelling it sets my migraines off. 😂 So I think it's not the marijuana itself, but all the other nasty stuff that's in all types of cigarettes.
      Suffer from anxiety myself, also sleep issues and chronic pain. All doctors just tell me to just live with it. But my life quality is awful, would love to try CBD etc. But my country, Norway, it's strictly illegal.

      "this doesn't work for me therefore no one should be able to"
      That's what this reads as. As with all medications, the route of consumption will vary depending on the needs of those who are taking it. Every medication has side effects, and if one gives you side effects you can't deal with that's a job for you and your physician to talk about.
