Love the positivity! I was born with super thin and fine hair...at the salon, my hair always looks so bad that they never even photograph mine for their social media when even grannies with thinning hair come out looking stunning. It looks okay from the front because I have some curls and texture but the back of my head is an absolute nightmare! Scalp everywhere D:
I've been using henna to make the color a nice red I like more then my natural color which makes me happier but I still always wear it tied up in a specific sidebraid style that adds a ton of volume, otherwise I'm too insecure to go out...

I had super thick hair before chemo too. Now mine is very fine and thin too. Helper hair is now a regular part of life for me. I’m there are so many realistic options these days!

My sides of my head don't grow no longer than a inch and and is very thin. I've tried many things wigs wiglets ext. Just don't work. Clips on them don'twork being hair is thin. I went nutz watching scarf tying videos a week or so ago and was so inspired!
So, I took one of my stretchy infinity scarves, laid it out as a flat loop, put 2 hair-bands on it about 1/3 in from each end, put my head thru the middle loop and fiddled with it until I had pig-tails!
Then I went shopping at Walmart!

Haha Sure did! Just go to Amazon and type in fake hair scrunchies! There are several options and I love them! They help give a full hair look!

My hair is as thin as yours from thyroid issues. I love the hairy scrunchies, but my hair is half gray, half mousie brown. Not sure I can make them look real. So, I do full head covers, instead. Not as cute, though.

My youngest daughter will start chemo soon. I have already crochet her 6 hats. 5 are 1920s style with a scraf as a running ribbon. She is wearing them already to get prepared.

What type of fabric are your scarves made out of? I use a lot of silk ones, and I have to use hair pins to keep them in as well as satin. Also what length scarves are those that you have in your tutorial

They are about 4 feet long but you can make it work with 2 feet to 6 feet!

I just use a wide tooth comb -like a pick. I don’t have much to brush haha

Valory Valentine well everybody is different. Some people have no problem. Some people have thicker hair, some like me have thinner hair...just depends! 💁🏻♀️
