Ihsahn is brother in law of Einar solberg (Leprous). He was the frontman of Emperor, who started a solist career, doing some kind of avant-garde blackened prog . Another fun fact is that Leprous was his live support band for years, that's why Einar is on many Ihsahn songs, and Ihsahn sing in some Leprous songs too.
The mixing in this track is incredible, I was on a bus when I first heard it but I felt like I was in a concert. Truly amazing piece this is, so glad you reacted to it.
