Very good cover, loved the bells :) Would love to hear you have a go at covering Will You? By Hazel O'Connor. I should warn you that it has a very good sax solo in it, I appreciate thats not one of your instruments but I would love to see how you work around the problem, or maybe you have a friend who plays sax? Either way, enjoying your songs so far. Looking forward to what else you have to offer.
It must've taken you so long to create this, but it's perfect. The editing is as impressive as the music and I really enjoyed the humour in it. Thanks Laura! 👍
Excellent, Laura! I can see why you do the video editing for the UOGB but they are missing out if they don't use your superb instrumental and vocal talents. Enjoying what I was watching and listening to, I must say I didn't notice the reflections and I should have done as a photographer and one-time theatre lighting techie!
So many of you I got dizzy watching. Another great performance form the young lady with the smile. Laura Currie keeps impressing. You have a great talent and great ideas for your videos.
WOW, fantastic!! Each song I see you do just gets better and better. Great song done superbly, as others have said great editing. Looking forward to see what you do next
I really don't think you know how talented you are Laura. Your vocal range is amazing, with truly unique tones, and your instrumentals faultless. Such a casual style.. Absolutely brilliant. !
Thanks from Germany for this (again) great cover. I love Queen, and I love your covers, not only from Queen. I would have such more to say about it, but my english is not good enough. So I only look forward for more of your music. Greetings and love. :-)
You are amazingly talented Laura. I love your choice of songs and the brilliant way in which you play, sing and film them. It would be great to see you having a permanent position with the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. I'd love to see your version of Killer Queen.
I’d love to know how you choose which tracks to cover. Queen are of course a great band with a huge catalogue, but you always surprise by picking a less obvious song and reinventing it with your arrangement. Bravo!
thanks! I'm not sure how I choose exactly, but if I think they're interesting songs I get excited about tearing them apart and building them back up again, whereas if there's nothing particularly interesting going on (either lyrically or musically) I don't really find it worth the time
Damn, I just stumbled on to this channel, and all I have to say is, this is NOT gonna help me cut down on my RUclips habit. Two videos in and already subscribed.
This is amazing, you play all the parts so well, but to be able to bring it together in this edit really showcase's these performances, thank you for sharing, well worth a coffee in your tip jar :-)
Ha! :-) Awesome! However, since everywhere is in lock down, you have had the time to record many more awesome covers! Seriously! Keep em coming (love cats was just, ah! Seriously cool!) Anyway, love your stuff, :-)
I'm in awe. You just upstaged Freddie Mercury. Ummm... you know that's not easy, right? I think the reason why I prefer your cover over his original is because I'm a cyclist myself. The original has Queen's typical, edgy sound and a pace that borders on frantic, which, in my mind, at least, conjures up images of a racer clawing for first place on a crowded bike racetrack (probably Mercury's intention) or, in the urban cyclist's milieu, a bicycle messenger dodging crazily between cars on busy streets. But that's not the way I ride. I ride safely, and prefer quieter streets. Your interpretation paints a more idyllic picture in my mind. Your quieter, gentler treatment almost has me feeling the wind on my face and clothes, and the tension release I feel from the exertion of the ride. And yet, you don't compromise one bit on Queen's signature tight timing and harmonies. Absolutely brilliant!
Don’t worry about the reflections in your glasses… the way you have reflected this epic-of-a-song more than makes up for it - not that most people would even notice!! 😉 Great work.

Great editing. Love the melodic bass playing.

it took quite a while, Queen are known for having loads of layers! thanks :)
Absolutely brilliant, it really suits you singing a little faster and playing a ukulele like Brian May plays the Red Special is just genius.
Outstanding!
Brilliant cover Laura!!!
So good. 👌
