Good video. How difficult will it be to lift the boards next time after being glued?

So, in the end, like many things it comes down to sloppy work and cheap practices.

We have Vinyl Plank resilient flooring it is a floating floor that has tongue in groove. The material in flexible and does not squeak at all.

I love your video, but I have a special situation.
My floor squeaks, but the subfloor is covered by a 1.5" - 2" layer of gypcrete. It is a 2nd story condo unit. The building is about 35 years old and pretty classically built with cheap materials and minimum building code standards met.
There are some pretty significant squeaks and creeks, and my downstairs neighbor is complaining that she can hear everything we are doing in the late night and wee hours when she is trying to sleep.
I don't doubt she can, as she has sent recordings of the sounds, and also the empty space between the our floor and her ceiling acts like a sound box and amplifies the noise.
The layer of concrete is something that prohibits me from doing anything from my side of things.
I think of a fix had to happen, she would have to have the association approve a contractor tearing out her ceiling to attempt the fix you illustrate here, in all the squeaky spots, which are basically sprinkled throughout the unit.
Suggestions? Just on the squeaky part and how feasible and practical it is to repair such a subfloor under the layer of gypcrete.

Hi Nicole. If the squeak is in the subfloor framing, it's going to be tough to fix without making a big mess. Do you have hardwood or laminate flooring? If so, this could be the culprit and would be easier to repair. Any chance this is the case?

Any products that you recommend for stopping floor/nail squeeks? There are a few our there. I'm wondering which one is your favorite.

If you are talking about building a house to prevent squeaks, I really like using a quality subfloor adhesive applied strictly per manufacturer recommendations and then using either ring shank nails or screws. And definitely use a quality tongue and groove subfloor panel. Hope this helps.

So I live in an apartment complex and have these squeaks, especially in one room, is it a safety issue or just more so an annoyance? My apartment maintenance doesn’t really seem concerned with it and basically told me they really aren’t going to do anything because it’s not affecting the units “livability”

It's just an annoyance. The subfloor relaxes a very very small distance above the joist, when you step on it you are pushing the subfloor down until it touches the joist, this movement makes a squeaking sound, but will never lead to a failure of the floor.
