I made some jumps from the Huey back in the '60s. Somehow, it was harder for me to push off that floorboard into the air than it was to make a jump from a C-130. I got caught in an updraft on Yamato DZ on one of those jumps. Everyone else was back to the turn-in point while I was still coming in for a PLF. I only weighed about 140 pounds then and it was a Hollywood jump. I took a lot of razzing about that.

IS this one of the Postage Stamp Dropzones? Do they still make the Instructors make all of the Postage Stamp Dropzone Jumps to get their JumpMaster Wings anymore? RLTW!!
