I love this I'm going to try this
Pickled young nasturtium seeds make a lovely substitute for capers.
Wow. That sounds amazing. Do you have the recipe or where I can find one?
@@janetgordon2484 I use the same sweet&sour brine that I would use for peppers, with a little bit of pickling spice.
We love picked nasturtium seeds. We also have a recipe here: www.thegardener.co.za/grow-to-eat/recipes/recipes-with-nasturtiums/
@@TanyaVisserTheGardener I will try your recipe too.
Your recipe sounds like it would make a good natural ferment too, in a safe brine of 1salt/9filtered water with a pinch of sugar and the pepper corns.
When is the best time to make cuttings from bougainvillea, hibiscus, roses etc?
I know the value of bonemeal in the soil - but my dog thinks I've buried something delicious! Even when it's a commercial mix, it leads to the garden getting the dogs' special attention.
How does anyone else deal with this please?
Hi there, are you situated in South Africa? Bonemeal helps with root building so you should be able to find an alternative root building product that will work. In South Africa, you can try Bio Rock Root Builder from Atlantic Fertilisers.
